My daughter is getting married next Oct 2012. She is wearing an ivory colored gown and the bridesmaid dresses are plum and long. My daughter originally wanted purple and red colors but we are afraid it would look too gothic. We thought adding some pink would help but it is going to be fall. We want to keep fall in mind however she want a more elegant, vintage look for her wedding and not too fallish of a look. She really likes roses but isn’t too crazy about calla lilies. What would you suggest for us? We can’t seem to find the right colors and flowers. Also, she would like her bridal bouquet creamy and vintage.
Cindy, what an exciting time for the mother of the bride and how thoughtful of you to help her find the right bouquet. I found the perfect vintage looking inspiration bouquet from Vintage Design Company featuring Purple Orchids & Roses, Fuchsia Orchids & Peonies, and Lily of the Valley. I paired it with a Fuchsia Peony & Ranunculus Premade Bouquet. To add a vintage look, I chose an Embroidered Bouquet Wrap. For your daughter, she can duplicate the bouquet by using the exact flowers in Creamy White or Ivory as shown below. Happy Planning, Mindy
