“Hello! I am planning for an early May 2011 wedding, and my fiancé likes the blue orchid flowers, but I would love to add more than just blue. I have found some pictures with a bright pink daisy-like flower, and a dusty rose/white rose to help tie it together. I am worried I am going to get too many colors going on and cannot decide which to use more over the other. I am open to any suggestions, as nothing I have picked out is set in stone by any means! Thanks!! Sarah”
Sarah, I actually love the flowers and colors you have chosen! I think the bright blue will look great paired with a bright pink or softer pink or cream even. Actually, I think blue, pink, and cream would be very eye-catching!! Unfortunately, we don’t have any blue orchids at this time, but if you don’t find any — you can always use spray paint for silk flowers and customize some. For the bouquets, why not create them using cream roses and pink gerbera daisies as the base and accent with the bold blue orchids! Wrap a blue ribbon around the bouquet stems to bring even more blue into the mix. I hope this helps!
