“My wedding is in the Spring of 2011. My bridesmaids are wearing harvest gold satin dresses. We originally planned to marry November 2010, and gold is a wonderful fall color. Since I love it so much, I decided to stick with it. My dress is ivory and the gold compliments it well. My questions are: Would the bridesmaids bouquets look nice in shades of pink, wrapping the stem in ivory or gold? I will carry ivory flowers. The reception tables will have an ivory table cloth, with a sheer ivory with sparkles overlay. The chair covers are ivory with a sheer gold chair tie. I plan to use eiffel tower vases as the centerpiece for each table. I wanted to do the flowers in shades of pink and ivory. Flowers would include: pink tulips, pink roses, ivory roses, white hydrangeas for contrast, and greenery. I don’t really want to do red flowers because everyone does ivory, red, and gold. I don’t want a Christmas look since it is a Spring wedding. Thanks!”
I think that the color palette you have chosen as well as the flower types are perfect! I love the soft pink and ivory with the gold dresses. I created you an inspiration board with the flower you would like your bouquet to be made out of so you can see how beautiful it all looks together! Finish your bouquets look by wrapping a gold ribbon around the stems and accenting with ivory pearl pins. Congratulations!
