Michelle’s Dark Purple and Blue Inspiration Board

Hello! I am very interested in using silk flowers for my wedding but I have no clue how to get started! I found pictures of almost the exact colors I am looking for (I found the pictures from Olivia Gird Photography: http://oliviagird.com/blog/?p=66). However, the flowers in the pictures are wildflowers and I am interested in more of a symmetric and fun bouquet. Also, I would like my flower colors to be in different ratios (I’d like royal blue and royal purple to be the majority, then the yellowish-green color, then a hint of fuchsia). I love bling, so if there is any way to add some jewels to the bouquet that would be fantastic! My wedding is going to be outside on May 11, 2013 and my bridesmaids will be wearing black dresses so I’m really looking forward to seeing bouquets that pop against the black of their dresses and the white of mine. The words I want to use to describe my flowers are bright, bold and fun! Thank you so much for your help!!  Best Regards,  Michelle Palmer

This elegant inspiration photo comes from Trendy Bride and it features Purple Anemones, Fuchsia Orchids, Blue & Green Hydrangeas and Lamb’s Ear Greenery.  You could also use the premade Anemone Bridal Bouquet for your bridesmaids.  For a little Bling, add a Rhinestone Buckle to your bouquet when you wrap it with Floral Ribbon.  Happy Planning, Mindy

  1. Ordered 7 bouguets for my wedding on June 12, 2012. They are absolutely beautiful!! Real flowers were not in my budget. These premade bouguets of pale pink and cream open roses look amazingly real. Very very pleased!!

  2. Mindy, this is gorgeous!! I really appreciate you helping me with this, I would have never been able to piece these flowers together to make such a pretty bouquet!! You’re the best!! 🙂

    1. Awe thanks so much! You are too sweet. If you need any other help, just let me know(mindy@afloral.com) Good luck with the rest of your wedding plans. Keep in touch:)
