Megan’s Sangria and Turquoise Wedding Inspiration Board

Megan writes:
“Hi!

I was looking at your inspiration boards and was hoping I could get one as well….the flowers seem to be the hardest part of planning the wedding for me thus far! Our wedding colors are sangria and oasis as defined by David’s Bridal. I don’t have any preference as far as types of flowers go but our centerpieces have burgundy rose-shaped candles and eucalyptus leaves. Let me know if you need anymore information. I am excited to see what you come up with!

Sincerely,
Megan”

Megan, I created your inspiration board with flowers in turquoise and a violet that matches the sangria color quite well. I also included some eucalyptus — it’s a beautiful greenery and will be a nice accent to your bouquets — especially since you are already using eucalyptus leaves for your centerpieces. For your bouquets, why not make them using eggplant and violet roses (since you have the rose shaped candles too), turquoise ranunculus, and eucalyptus sprays. If you want another flower type, you could also add in the violet gerbera daisies. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

  1. When I went to David's bridal I found the color sangria and oasis is a lot darker in person. We are using yellow tulips. My maid of Honor and flower girls are wearing sangria and the rest of the brides maids are wearing oasis (which looks more like a dark teal). The yellow tulips looks awesome with it.

    1. That sounds beautiful thanks for the tips. I am sure this will give other brides color inspiration:)
