I’m getting married in July 2012 and I can’t decide between my colors! I know I want hot pink and orange for sure, but I don’t know if I should make my third color lemon yellow, lime green, or purple. Can you help me out? I know for sure that I do not want roses for my flowers, I really love tropical flowers like plumerias. My engagement ring is actually a plumeria flower with a diamond in the middle I hope that helps!
Kristen, I created your inspiration board using different flower types — all that are tropical, or that have a fun, tropical appearance. I used orange and fuchsia pink, but also added some green, yellow, and purple so you could see all the colors together. Personally, I just love the green with the orange and fuchsia — but really, the others look good as well. The green in the mix really makes the colors “pop” though! Any combination of the flowers on this board would look great put together in a bouquet — you could even add in some tropical greenery! Remember, to bring more color to the bouquets, you can always wrap a ribbon around the stems and accent with pearl headed pins. I hope you like your inspiration board!
