“Hi, my name is Kate and I’m getting married in May 2011. We are
getting married at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, MI (in a castle) and I
would like some ideas on flowers that would go with my black, white
and apple/barn red theme. We are getting married outside in a
courtyard and then having the reception in the King’s Garden Room
which has a lot of greenery and ferns which I like. I really like the
orchids, roses and gerbera daisies, but am open to any suggestions. I would like my bouquet to be red with maybe some white accents and black ribbon and the bridesmaids bouquets to be white with black ribbon. I would really appreciate it if you could give me some ideas and help me out!
Kate, I love the black white and red color scheme, and think using orchids, roses, and gerbera daisies for your bouquets will be perfect!! I created your inspiration board with white and red flowers in the 3 flower types you like. I think the bridal bouquet would look great made up with red roses and gerbera daisies with white orchid accents. You could then make the bridesmaids bouquets with white rose, daisies, and orchids. Wrap a black satin ribbon around all the bouquets to tie in the 2 looks — you could even accent the bouquets with a black beaded spray! I hope this helps.
