I am writing for my daughter, Adrienne, who has recently become engaged. Her wedding date is 9-10-11. Her colors are persimmon with accents of black and silver. Her dress is a two-toned dress of white and persimmon, while her attendants are the opposite. The men will be in black with silver vests. The flowers she is wanting to include are calla lilies and asiatic lilies. I’m having difficulty in trying to come up with color and flower combinations. Please help.
the bewildered mom”
Karole, I created your inspiration board with flowers in orange and white with black accents. I made sure to include a few different lilies and calla lilies as well as a few other flower types. I think the bouquets would look great as simple hand-tied calla lily bouquets. Or with a combination of orange and white calla lilies, white hydrangea, and orange lilies. Wrap a black ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent it with silver pearl pins — or even add silver jewels to the bouquet itself. For the reception, check out our black sparkle branches for a quick and beautiful solution. I hope this helps!
