“Hi! I stumbled across your site while researching wedding bouquets for hours on end! I am amazed at what you do for brides. I am getting married September 12, 2010. I am stuck on what to do for centerpieces and bouquets for me and the girls. I will be in white, my fiancé will be in white, and the girls will be in a black A-line dress with “cornflower” blue sash from David’s Bridal. I like watermelon pink as an accent color. I’m on an extremely tight budget and love how economical and pretty the hydrangea is and gerbera daisies are my absolute favorite! I really like tall centerpieces, but can’t afford most of them. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!!
Danielle, you have a very pretty color palette! I created your inspiration board with flowers in pink, blue, and yellow. I think the bouquets would look beautiful made up with the soft yellow roses, cerise gerbera daisies, and blue hydrangea accents. If you didn’t like the roses, you could use yellow and cerise gerbera daisies with the hydrangea. Add the black with a black satin ribbon around the stems. For the centerpieces — mitsumata branches are a great idea. The case seems a little pricey, but you get A LOT of branches in a case. These are bleached branches they can be spray painted any color, you could even add a glitter spray to fancy them up. I think the branches would be a simply, inexpensive but beautiful way to make centerpieces. You can also add hanging crystals, jewels, birds, or even small flower blooms to the branches. I hope this helps give you some ideas!
