“Hi I am getting married 9/10/2011 in a church and having an indoor reception. The venue does not allow open flame. The groom and I will be in ivory. I would like my bouquet to be ivory with brown and blue. The BM’s will have on Pool colored long dresses and the GM’s will have on chocolate tuxes with ivory shirts and pool colored tie and vests. Please help with flowers and centerpiece arrangements. Thanks for all your help in advance.
Angelina, I love the Pool color dress from David’s Bridal that you have chosen for your bridesmaid dresses. It’s such a fresh beautiful color and will look great with an ivory and brown color scheme. I put a few different flower types on your board that match the colors you are looking for. I think the bouquets would look great made up with vanilla roses, turquoise gerbera daisies, and brown roses (or cosmos). You can also use the same flower types but in a different color combination for the bridesmaid’s and bridal bouquet. For example, perhaps use less turquoise and more ivory for the bridemaids, as the softer color will really “pop” against the bridesmaid dresses! For the centerpieces, why not get some battery operated votive candles and place them on the table with some rose petals. For the actual centerpiece arrangement, you could arrange 2-3 shorter gerbera daisies in a square clear vase. Wrap a turquoise ribbon around the vase and keep the stems in place with brown/natural rocks to bring all 2 colors into the mix. I hope this helps give you some ideas!
