Teresa’s Deep Purple and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

Teresa writes:
“Hello there I am hoping to get ideas for flowers as I would like to use silk flowers and gerbera daisies. I am also planning to have a fall wedding and I am not certain what other flowers or colors would compliment the deep purple and ivory colors.
Thank you for any and all suggestions!!!!”

Teresa, I created your inspiration board with flowers in deep purple and ivory as well as added some greens. I think the green color really looks great against the purple! For the bouquets, why not create them using the violet gerbera daisies, eggplant phalaenopsis orchids, vanilla roses, and accent with green hydrangea. Wrap a green or purple ribbon around the bouquets stem to complete the look. I hope this helps!

“Hello my name is Beth and my wedding is Aug 28th 2010. I need help with flower designs for my bouquet and my bridesmaids dresses.
Thanks,
Beth”

Beth, I created your inspiration board with flowers in oranges and fuchsia pinks! I used roses, ranunculus, and gerbera daisies — all of which (or all) will go together to making stunning wedding arragements! Wrap an orange ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with pink pins to finish off the bouquets! I hope this helps!

Nyssa’s Pink, Orange, and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

Nyssa writes:
“Hi!
I’m planning an outdoor wedding in June and would love to have some help with the flowers!! I have some ideas on what I would like, but have not been able to bring it all together. My wedding colors are pink, orange and ivory. Other than that though, I have no idea what to do, any help would be much appreciated!
For centerpieces, I have tall, small mouth white vases. I was going to just put sticks and hang votives off of them, but if you have a better idea that would be great!
Thank you so much for you help!
Nyssa”

Nyssa, I created your inspiration board with flowers in ivory, orange, and shades of pink. I made the board with mostly roses as that is the flower in the picture of the arch you sent me — gorgeous! I would suggest creating the bouquets to match with pink, orange, and ivory roses. I also really like your centerpiece idea. If you would like to add a little more to it, why not pick a small flower for your bouquet accents, and them us the mini blooms on the sticks as well as the candles! I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Audra’s Peach, Pink, and Indigo Wedding Inspiration Board

Audra writes:
“Hi!

My name is Audra and I’m getting married on June 5, 2010. I’m hoping to be able to put my and my bridesmaids’ bouquets together myself. My colors are navy, canary yellow and light blue. I came across this blog and figured I could use a little help. I was looking at pink, peach and cream tones for my bouquet. The color I’ve chosen for the girls’ dress is Indigo. I’d like to incorporate the yellow and the lighter blue in their bouquets. I appreciate any help you can give me!

Thank you,
Audra”

Audra, I created your inspiration board in 2 halves. The top are the colors for your bouquet, and the bottom for the bridesmaids. I choose the same flower types for the bouquets, just in different colors. I think bouquets of roses, gerbera daisies, and hydrangeas are beautiful and will look great with both color combinations. Dark purple/indigo, soft yellow, and blue for the girls. Peach, cream, and pink for the bride. Wrap an ivory ribbon around all the bouquet stems to finish them off. I hope this helps!

Amanda’s Ivory, Latte, and Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

Amanda writes:
“Good afternoon! I am so lucky to have found you website. Our’s is a May wedding/reception at a golf course, the attendant’s (my mom!) dress is latte, mine is ivory tafeta, Davids Bridal T9389, the groom/other men are wearing black with latte vests.. We are stuck on co-ordinating floral and decoration ideas. Any help would be wonderful. I do like the cala lilies and baby roses with a hint of pink. We’re having about 70 guests, thinking we want center table decorations, but low enough guests can see each other.
Thanks so much!
Amanda”

Amanda, I created your board using flowers in ivory, tan, brown, and pink. I was sure to include calla lilies and roses, but also added a peony and gerbera daisies — just in case. Keeping with the calla lily and rose idea, I think the bouquets would look beautiful created with the burgundy brown and cream calla lilies, vanilla cream roses, and pink rose buds. The pink rose buds will bring in some, but not too much, color. Wrap a light pink ribbon around the bouquet stems. I also included a photo of a calla lily centerpiece idea. It’s simple, but very pretty and you could fill the vase with any gems/stones of your choice. I hope this helps!
