Sharon’s Green and Silver Wedding Inspiration Board

Sharon writes:
“My wedding is on June 25th, 2010. My colors are green and silver so far, and I am thinking about having another soft color too. The bridesmaid dresses are a print, so I do not want their bouquets to be too busy, but I would like mine to be a bit more busy. I do like quite simple. I was also wondering what kind of flower to put in my centerpieces. I am only having one tall vase per table.
Thank you very much!
Sharon”

Sharon, I created your inspiration board with mostly flowers in shades of green, but I also added some light pink as well. The light pink compliments the green and looks great with silver as well! For your bouquets, why not create them using green and pink gerbera daisies, green peonies, and green bells of ireland accents. I think the bells of ireland are such a beautiful and simple flowers. Finish off the bouquets by wrapping a silver ribbon around the stems. For the centerpieces, you could also use the bells are they are a nice tall flower, or if you are submerging the flowers, you can use green orchids. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Thanks

Kasi, I created your inspiration board with different flower types in shades of purple and turquoise. I think the bouquets would look fantastic made up of turquoise ranunculus, purple roses, eggplant anemones, and turquoise baby cosmos. You could also even addin some turquoise feathers to the arrangements for a bit more of a different look. Wrap the bouquet stems with a dark purple ribbon to finish them off! I hope this helps!

Jessica’s Turquoise and Hot Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

Jessica writes:
“I am interested in having you help me with my wedding flowers. Our wedding will be November 6th 2010, on Anna Maria Island Beach, FL… the colors I have chosen are very bright, tropical colors. My bridesmaids dresses will be either hot pink with teal/turquoise sash, OR Teal/turquoise with a hot pink sash. I am looking for a bunch of single stem flowers and greenery, very tropical and colorful that also somewhat go with the bouquets I have attached. I really hope you can help me, im open to any suggestions!
Thanks,
Jessica”

Jessica, I created your inspiration board using flowers in white, turquoise, and bright pink. I also tried to included flowers that were featured in the photos you send me. Orchids are a beautiful and simple way to create centerpiece arrangements. Simple add a few stems to a tall vase and accent with tropical greenery or natural branches! For the bouquets, why not create them using fuchsia and white orchids, turquoise ranunculus (maybe even white too), and pink stargazer lilies. Use a turquoise ribbon around the stems to accent the bouquet. I hope this helps!

Marissa’s Coral and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

Marissa writes:
“Hi there,
I am getting married September 5th, 2010. My colors are coral and ivory, with accents of champagne gold. My bridesmaids will be in coral dresses and my dress will be ivory. I love peonies and roses and candles-hoping to integrate those into my wedding. I am hoping to set a soft romantic look. Hope you can help-thanks!
-Marissa”

Marissa, this really is a soft, romantic color palette! I created your inspiration board with flowers in shades of coral and ivory. I think the bouquets would look beautiful made up of the salmon peach peonies, vanilla cream rose and peach roses, and peach apple blossom accents. Wrap a light golden ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent that with ivory pins to finish the look. You can also easily make round centerpiece arrangements using the same flower types. Place them in a middle height clear vase filled with opaque gems perhaps. Placing candles on the tables around these will really reflect the light and look amazing! I hope this helps!

Tai’s Black, White, and Aqua Wedding Inspiration Board

Tai writes:
“Hello there.
I need your help! I am a flower moron!! My colors are aqua(pool blue), black, and white. The back theme to the wedding is butterflies. I am going for pops of color to offset the black and the aqua and I am having a hard time with flower arrangements for my centerpieces. My dress is a line with lace and sparkle, ivory in color. Pink is fantastic and I would love to add that into my decor, maybe some orange too?? I have this idea of hanging flowers off fake branches that are coming out of a small bouquet of flowers along with some small butterflies. I want my reception to be bright, cheery and classy without looking like a crayola box threw up in the room :)
Thanks for your help!!
September 2010 Bride
Tai”

Tai, I created your inspiration board with flowers in white, aqua, pink, yellow, and even a hint of orange. I absolutely love a bright pink paired with the pool blue color, however in my opinion, I think adding yellow flowers would really make the arrangements “pop.” Orange is also beautiful, but doesn’t seem to go as well with the pink and aqua. I did include an orange flower on the board so you could take a look at them all together. I also love your idea of the branches complete with flowers and butterflies. Very unique and it will look great! For the wedding arrangements, why not create them using turquoise gerbera daisies, fuchsia roses and orchids, yellow roses, and accent with the white stephanotis. I hope this board helps give you some ideas!
