Jessica’s Turquoise and Hot Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

Jessica writes:
“I am interested in having you help me with my wedding flowers. Our wedding will be November 6th 2010, on Anna Maria Island Beach, FL… the colors I have chosen are very bright, tropical colors. My bridesmaids dresses will be either hot pink with teal/turquoise sash, OR Teal/turquoise with a hot pink sash. I am looking for a bunch of single stem flowers and greenery, very tropical and colorful that also somewhat go with the bouquets I have attached. I really hope you can help me, im open to any suggestions!
Thanks,
Jessica”

Jessica, I created your inspiration board using flowers in white, turquoise, and bright pink. I also tried to included flowers that were featured in the photos you send me. Orchids are a beautiful and simple way to create centerpiece arrangements. Simple add a few stems to a tall vase and accent with tropical greenery or natural branches! For the bouquets, why not create them using fuchsia and white orchids, turquoise ranunculus (maybe even white too), and pink stargazer lilies. Use a turquoise ribbon around the stems to accent the bouquet. I hope this helps!

Marissa’s Coral and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

Marissa writes:
“Hi there,
I am getting married September 5th, 2010. My colors are coral and ivory, with accents of champagne gold. My bridesmaids will be in coral dresses and my dress will be ivory. I love peonies and roses and candles-hoping to integrate those into my wedding. I am hoping to set a soft romantic look. Hope you can help-thanks!
-Marissa”

Marissa, this really is a soft, romantic color palette! I created your inspiration board with flowers in shades of coral and ivory. I think the bouquets would look beautiful made up of the salmon peach peonies, vanilla cream rose and peach roses, and peach apple blossom accents. Wrap a light golden ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent that with ivory pins to finish the look. You can also easily make round centerpiece arrangements using the same flower types. Place them in a middle height clear vase filled with opaque gems perhaps. Placing candles on the tables around these will really reflect the light and look amazing! I hope this helps!

Tai’s Black, White, and Aqua Wedding Inspiration Board

Tai writes:
“Hello there.
I need your help! I am a flower moron!! My colors are aqua(pool blue), black, and white. The back theme to the wedding is butterflies. I am going for pops of color to offset the black and the aqua and I am having a hard time with flower arrangements for my centerpieces. My dress is a line with lace and sparkle, ivory in color. Pink is fantastic and I would love to add that into my decor, maybe some orange too?? I have this idea of hanging flowers off fake branches that are coming out of a small bouquet of flowers along with some small butterflies. I want my reception to be bright, cheery and classy without looking like a crayola box threw up in the room :)
Thanks for your help!!
September 2010 Bride
Tai”

Tai, I created your inspiration board with flowers in white, aqua, pink, yellow, and even a hint of orange. I absolutely love a bright pink paired with the pool blue color, however in my opinion, I think adding yellow flowers would really make the arrangements “pop.” Orange is also beautiful, but doesn’t seem to go as well with the pink and aqua. I did include an orange flower on the board so you could take a look at them all together. I also love your idea of the branches complete with flowers and butterflies. Very unique and it will look great! For the wedding arrangements, why not create them using turquoise gerbera daisies, fuchsia roses and orchids, yellow roses, and accent with the white stephanotis. I hope this board helps give you some ideas!

April’s Guava, Champagne, and Blue Wedding Inspiration Board

April writes:
“Hello,
My name is April and I am getting married in October of 2010. I was looking through yoru site and loved the variety that you have to offer. We have picked a beach themed wedding. My dress is ivory and we are working with David’s Bridal for bridesmaid dresses. The colors of the dresses we are looking at are Guava and Champaign. We were thinking of a blue as an accent color but having difficulty tying the colors together. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
April”

April, I think the guava and champagne look striking paired with a bright royal blue! I created your inspiration board with these colors in various flower types. For the bouquets, why not make them using the champagne and ivory roses, salmon peonies, and accent with a blue flower. If you only want hints of blue, you could go with the rose buds — if you want more color, try using the blue iris or hydrangea. You could even accent your bouquet stems with a beautiful blue ribbon. I hope you like your board!

Rhonda’s Blue, Purple, and Turquoise Wedding Inspiration Board

Rhonda writes:
“Dear LeAnne,
My daughter is getting married in November 2010. She has chosen a peacock theme for her wedding and would like to use a teal, purple and navy color scheme. Her favorite flower is a gerbera daisy, however, not a must for her wedding! We would appreciate any suggestions and guidance you can give.
Thanks so much,
Rhonda”

Rhonda, I am such a huge fan of peacock feathers and all of their beautiful colors! I created your inspiration board using flowers in purple, blue, and turquoise — being sure to include some gerbera daisies! I think the bouquets would look stunning created with turquoise and purple gerbera daisies, and blue roses. If this is too simple, add in some turquoise ranunculus or purple roses. You can also add natural peacock feathers as well — really making the bouquet unique. Wrap a navy ribbon around the stems to finish off the bouquet and add a touch more blue to the mix. I hope this helps give you guys some ideas!
