Red Rose Centerpiece

We have seen these centerpieces on shows like The Bachelor, Good Morning America and Conan so we decided to break it down for you in a fun and easy DIY! Perfect wedding centerpiece and will look great in your home.AJkmH7uQv9ZcO5Jfe0Q3-5LxmCYezGI2EmuLdI9pUv8The First thing to do is gather your supplies.  For this centerpiece we wanted a large centerpiece with a fuller look so we used a Clear Cylinder Glass Vase at 6 inches wide x 6 inches tall, 2 Silk Rose Bouquets in Burgundy, Water-Resistant Leaf Ribbon, foral foam, wire cutters, scissors, and a large knife.  For a smaller arrangement you can use a smaller container, a single bouquet, or your favorite assortment of silk wedding flowersZKl2J4iZk5Ue1rOF6Fdb5_EO_1I5C0FekkMLIsJoc841)  Measure the length of leaf ribbon you will need by wrapping it around the outside of the vase.  Give yourself an extra inch of ribbon and cut it with your scissors. Lay it in the vase, allowing the ribbon to overlap.  You can add a piece of tape to secure in place.NzvqOC0t5vFIrWDOJFgrM8ScJWLf3l9iYLFW8dPwXQQ copy2)  Cut the floral foam to fit into the vase.  Lay the foam over the vase opening and create a mark in the foam with the knife.  Place the foam on the table and carefully cut the foam with the knife.  Place the foam into the vase. De2mtuDBbuKfjQ7Vm5hKUOx3zG6vqv2QFkmEN4uotgANzvqOC0t5vFIrWDOJFgrM8ScJWLf3l9iYLFW8dPwXQQ copy copy3)  Cut the wire holding the silk flower bouquet together.  Depending on the height of your vase you may need to cut the silk flower stems with your wire cutters so they are not to long. HU38PRWyEb2xCQYarCM4aYBi4vYWHOf4gaI_pZB2H3QSwRdUVfnCLppeYSx8NlxEtnr1hfgxeqiQqjXZrJNj0w4)  Begin by sticking the first rose stem in the center of the floral foam.  Continue adding stems in a circular pattern to remain even.  Because the bouquet we used had many different sizes of roses we started with the larger roses and then added the rose buds to the arrangement to create a fuller look. NzvqOC0t5222vFIrWDOJFgrM8ScJWLf3l9iYLFW8dPwXQQ copy copyThat is it!  So simple and so beautiful!  This DIY will create a full centepiece for your wedding reception tables or a great addition to your home decor.  The perfect centerpiece for your holiday tables and will look great year after year. Fje5y0LwCQ9kCDhW0NNNFV77OgBc_lMndinPM0QFL9049fZX5lvzhHTj22-h5xqNWEMplS8lnQjIEz8wLLF2_zqU copyFor more tips follow our helpful DIY video. You will also need wire cutters1The first step is simple!  Cut the flower head off of the stem using wire cutters.  Place the flower head into the carriage. tSYvyJr5s4RVirDvUML8cUYigHrz_QnM9abujyDFmOI copyThe second step is just as easy!  Use wire cutters to cut apart your accent stems.  Most of our faux stems have a wire core so you will be able to wrap them around the carriage and they will stay in place. hN1kA1Zg5zy-LsnAtQ2K1CQLAsciaPQzZrHcfSQQWUYIf they are not wire you can weave them into the wire openings of the carriage, like with the wild grass.  If you want to add larger accent flower heads to the design you can attach them with hot glue.  WBRBYDqRmDTvqm3L38mFf3M50uXpTetnRjlzRBWOtXY-645x430yUHMVNIdfsH1F_dZHffxYn7BKIUKofYqQ8l43uFqzGsT7zrvS49VYvA7PgUkPRCKCtRBvWA0pODpG7fyRUzzvcFor the full fall centerpiece look, arrange your carriage on burlap table runners and surround in fall silk flowers and candle votives.  PUFrXGfd4D_6X6qphBcF85I7yX1o1jrVp8iyavhUudo,x7BmHOi9tnYrJ2kMwmMc9FCDbWaxkysCEYfxkbTOtkMLgMOh2y_JdW0y9qI-rlQTdQ0Fs1bqskAGLEHPe8_v1EAldhJNPL3Gyr3AAWPC2X3jk3mj70dpVaydCV4ndi74UQEsFNIHtlYD1VYjq1vF2mM-DF8PNQ9T39sVZOPLHv0IFor more tips follow our helpful DIY video.

How to Make a Bouquet with Silver Brunia

Brides everywhere are looking for silver brunia.  Recently we received Natural Brunia in Silver Grey and couldn’t wait to add it to a bouquet!  Follow this simple DIY and you can create this gorgeous and romantic bridal bouquet.  It’s affordable, classic, and long lasting.
11. Gather your supplies.  We wanted to create a bouquet that would be perfect for any season and any bride.  This classic beauty could walk down a winter wedding aisle or look fresh outdoors during your summer nuptials, perfect for the country, vintage or boho bride.  We choose to use lambs ear, white silk peonies, an open rose pre-made bouquet and single cream roses to compliment the silver brunia.  For a little more glam we added a gold ribbon and gold rose petals.  You will also need floral tape, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun.F5MsRJqBsvxcMdwgEpu7vmORI7U1EPtVcqlWN53Q4Dg copy2. Pull off the greenery on the silk flower stems.  If the leaves do not easily pull off you can use your wire cutters or scissors to remove them at the stem. 23.  Seperate the pre-made rose bouquet.  For a smaller bouquet you do not need to use all of the roses.  (For a larger bouquet you can simply add the additional stems and greenery to the pre-made bouquet and follow the instuctions for the DIY Garden Rose & Succulent Bouquet.) Gather one of each of your stems in one hand: a brunia bundle, peony and rose stem.
34.  Wrap with floral tape.  Continue adding the flowers and brunia to the bouquet, working in a circle.
45. Add the lambs ear around the outside of the bouquet and secure with floral tape. Clip the stems so they are even.
566.  Cut an arms length of ribbon to wrap the stems. For an interesting effect we decided to tie the ribbon in small knots down the length of the stems.  Tuck the ends of the ribbon under the knots when you are happy with the ribbon coverage over the stems.

cb8kh-HZsilxNCreNtU9L4c2E_WRfummcb6eTOEBNSs8.  For a little extra glitter and glam  we added individual metallic gold petals to the silk roses.  Simply add a small dot of hot glue to the base of the rose petals and secure a gold petal to the rose.  Incorporate them naturally into the silk roses so they lay seemlessly with the silk flower petals.  Add a few to each rose for a subtle look or add more for a little more glitz.  If you want to keep with the silver brunia theme you can  use silver silk petals and a silver ribbon.

How to Make a Cascading Fall Bouquet

Just in time for fall, learn how to make a cascading bouque with dried and silk wedding flowers.  This unique bouquet will make a lovely arrangement for any fall or rustic wedding.YDBtRtPr6cJZfFc3XjXyNgDvven69RkpZPNQo1RwAm8First you will need to gather your supplies.  We used both preserved and artificial flowers in this bouquet to create a natural fall look you won’t believe isn’t fresh.  We used natural protea flower pods in red orange, dried yarrow in red, artificial berries, artificial succulents, ferns, orchids, a hanging hops bush, floral tape, wire cutteres, burlap ribbon, and pins.je33K2lYgV1VX1o3MP13_ttTQx_zFS3zBXIHAOOPhdo1) Begin by holding several stems in you hand.  Wrap these stems in floral tape to secure in place.
vXU1sLtHbmOhmHfQPMfCf0ANLDzwbPjJc4q7wkj8XH82) Continue adding stems, working your way around the bouquet in a circle.  Add similar stems at equal distances around the bouquet.  Wrap with floral tape.
sf_Q-hPeiLBvAKHmQnjFII_kKtrFxzgH9uCncwNOWQk3) When you are happy with how your florals look begin adding your accent greenery.  Using your wire cutters, clip individual stems off a fern bush.  Add to your bouquet and secure with floral tape.
-lULxtB9hgjzSUUSYZDglWCrG4wIC19sjnlSJtiaMYc4) For the cascade add the hanging hops to the bouquet.  Because these are artificial  you can add a slight bend to the wire stem for a more dramatic look.  Wrap the completed bouquet with floral tape to thoroughly secure.
R2ZVYGK-In0kamvC05rbTkpEq31Wmv9rn9cj2KlyKkg5) For the finishing touch wrap the stems in your favorite ribbon to cover the floral tape.  We chose a buralp ribbon for our fall themed bouquet.  Cut a large section of ribbon.  Secure the ribbon to the bouquet with a pin.  Wrap the stems with enough ribbon to cover the tape.  Clip any access ribbon and secure with pins.
