Ashley’s Purple, Orange, and Yellow Wedding Inspiration Board

Ashley writes:
“Hello! I am a recently engaged bride to be who is extremely indecisive. I think my wedding will be in June of 2011 outside but that’s about all I’ve got. I love gerberas, the spider ones too, and calla lilies. I’m a huge fan of color but I like dark colors too. I want something fun, funky, different but still classy. My original color scheme was dark purple, yellow and white but I’m beginning to love the orange flowers I see on this website. Any ideas you can come up with I would really appreciate.
Thank you!
Ashley”

Ashley, I created your inspiration board with flowers in orange, yellow, and a few different shades of purple as well as some greens. This way, you can take a look at all the colors together and pick which you like best. Pairing oranges and yellows with a dark purple will really be a contrasting and bold look — which is very stunning. If you think it’s too extreme, you could always do a lighter orchid purple with the 2 colors — which is still nice and bright, just not as contrasting. Adding in some green will brighten the bouquet even more — and I just love the green and purple together! Any combination of the flowers on this board will look amazing though. I hope this helps!

Ashley’s Orange, Green, and Yellow Wedding Inspiration Board

Ashley writes:
“I have NOT been able to pick colors or flowers. My wedding is August 21, 2010. I found your site doing a search – and love it and your products! Would you be able to put an inspiration board together for me?

Some details:
-August wedding in a Catholic church in Kansas
-Reception indoors
-Steering away from too much pink, but want “summer” feel
-Dress is light ivory silk-satin with light pewter accents
-No bridesmaids dresses picked out yet
-I do like metallics, maybe play off the pewter

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Ashley”

Ashley, I created your inspiration board with flowers in bright yellow, orange, and green. These colors are nice and bold and will give your arrangements that summery feel. You could also add in some turrquoise or blue for extra brightness! If you wanted to make your boquuets similar to the photo, you could make it with the orange roses, orange spider dahlia, and the green hydrangeas. Add some yellow roses or mums for an extra splash of color. I hope this helps!

Marie’s Red, Yellow, White, and Gold Wedding Inspiration Board

Marie writes:
“Hi My name is Marie. I saw the arrangements you came up I was speechless. They are so beautiful, I feel that I found the site that I have been looking for and you you can help me too. We are having a small beach wedding in Miami. We live in Georgia. I have two bridesmaids they are best friends and are wearing red. My young daughter is wearing white with apple red sacha.

I am thinking of red, yellow, white, gold for bridal flowers. Can you come up with something beautiful, romantic and classic for us please? My dress is a strapless, mermaid, tied in the back. I am open to any suggestions, I don’t have much time left or much money left for flowers unfortunately.

Thank you for your help,
Marie”

Marie, I created your inspiration board with flowers in reds, yellows, and white with gold accent pieces. I think the bouquets would look great made up with red and white roses and yellow lily accents. However if you would like something other than just roses, why not make them using white roses, red hydrangea, and yellow lilies. Any combination of the flowers on your board will look great! You can then wrap a gold ribbon around the bouquet stems, use gold pins as accents, and even use the gold lapel pin vases for the groomsmen. I hope this helps!

Kalau’s Orange, Red, and Yellow Inspiration Board

Kalau writes:
“Aloha,
I was hoping that you could help me with the colors of my centerpieces and also those of the bouquets (bride and bridesmaids). I am getting married in Hawaii April 16, 2011. I was trying to come up with a color scheme that would not clash with the dresses of the bridesmaids. I was thinking something with red, orange, yellow, a little purple and maybe even a hint of lime green or a hint of purple and a little lime green. I am open to suggestions.
Mahalo-
Kalau”

Kalau, I create your board using the three main colors of the wedding that you wanted, I also added in the lime green and purple accents. I think that if you created your bouquet simply using the gerbera, and spider gerbera daisies it would look gorgeous. Since you have several colors it might be best to stick with the same flowers so the bouquets and center pieces are not too “busy”. Why not make the bouquet with red and orange traditional gerberas, and use the spider gerbera in yellow. You could also add in one or two of the lime green spider gerberas, and a couple of the purple traditional gerbera’s as the accent. You could also use curly ting in red and/or purple to add a bit of dimension to your bouquet. I hope this helps you to make a decision!

Chris’ Horizon Blue, Yellow, and Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

Chris writes:
“LeAnne,

I am getting married in the end of May in Anchorage, Alaska and am needing some ideas on flowers. My bridesmaids are wearing different tea length dresses from David’s Bridal in the horizon color. We are planning on doing an outdoor ceremony followed by a reception with lots of windows. I was hoping on using bright and cheery flowers to make for a colorful spring explosion. I was thinking maybe some yellow, purple, or pink flowers.

Can you help me please!
Thanks.
Chris”

Chris, I love the combination of the horizon blue along with bright yellow and pink — it’s so bright and beautiful. I created your inspiration board with a few different flower types in these colors. For the bouquets, why not create them using yellow roses, blue hydrangea, and the rubrum pink lilies. The bright pink lilies will really make the bouquets “pop.” If you’d like, you can even add a touch more blue to the bouquets by wrapping a blue ribbon around the stems. I hope this helps give you some ideas!
