Lovely Lapis – Amanda

Amanda is planning her March 2012 wedding and she is having trouble deciding on what flowers to use to match her lapis maid of  honor’s dress.  She loves peonies, yellow roses and stephanotis.  We chose to feature our silk premade bouquets that would closely match purple.  Choosing the premade bouquets are not only cost effective, but a huge time saver.  We have featured Amanda’s actual bridal gown to complete her inspiration board.  She ended her request in a beautiful quote that I would love to share with you.  ”Life isn’t measured by the breaths you take, but rather by the moments that take your breath away.”  We wish Amanda all the best.

Country Elegance – Joe & Lindsey

Joe and Lindsey have waited many years for this day. They began as high school sweethearts and have been together for 6 years. Love brought their 4 year daughter into their lives and she means the world to the couple. Now they need our help to create their November 5, 2011 elegant country wedding. The color scheme is yellowpink and the silk flower is gerbera daisy. We suggested pairing them with hydrangeas and roses and accenting with satin ribbon. We offer many affordable centerpiece containers, whether they choose to go with rustic or elegant.  We wish this couple all the best!

Valerie’s White, Yellow, and Black Wedding Inspiration Board

Valerie writes:
“I’m getting married May 7, 2011. The main flower I want to work with is gerbera daisies. My colors are black, white, and yellow. I was wondering if you could put together an inspiration board for me with some other flowers that might work well with the gerberas. Thank you in advance.
Valerie”

Valerie, I created your inspiration board with flowers in yellow in white. I included gerbera daisies as well as a few different flower types that will work well with them — roses, ranunculus, and hydrangea. I think the bouquets would look beautiful made up with cream/white hydrangea, yellow gerbera daisies, and white ranunculus. Complete the look and bring in the black by adding a black satin ribbon around the bouquet stems and accenting with white or yellow pins. I hope this helps!

Items used to create Valerie’s White, Yellow, and Black Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):

White Pearl Headed Pins, Cream Hydrangea, Soft Yellow Half Opening Rose, White Gerbera Daisy, Black Sparkle Birch Branches, White Ranunculus, Yellow Mini Gerbera Daisy, Yellow Gerbera Daisy, Black Satin Ribbon.
