Heather’s Purple, Green, and Fuchsia Wedding Inspiration Board

Heather writes:
“Hello :) I was very happy to find your site and browse your inspiration boards. I’m getting married June 11, 2011 in an outdoor setting with grass and trees. We’re having the reception in a large remodeled barn – it’s actually very charming.

My dress is ivory chiffon. I’m trying to decide what shade of purple
my maid-of-honor and bridesmaids will wear. They will wear different
styles of dresses but all in the same color – either wisteria (a
lighter purple) or lapis (darker purple).

For flowers, I was thinking of either a combination of green/fuscia or
coral/pink/fuscia. If you can help me by creating an inspiration
board, I would sincerely appreciate it. Feel free to choose whichever
dress color you think might look best for an early June outdoor
wedding. This has been the hardest part of wedding planning so far.
And we’ve been engaged for more than a year already!

Thank you so much,
Heather”

Heather, although I liked both purple colored dresses, I just love love the idea of pairing the darker purple dresses with fuchsia and green! I created your inspiration board with flowers in these colors along with the lapis dress. I think the bouquets would look stunning made up with purple roses, green spider dahlias, and fuchsia gerbera daisies. You can finish the look by wrapping the bouquet stems with purple ribbon and accenting with green or fuchsia pearl pins. I hope this helps! And P.S. the remodeled barn is absolutely gorgeous!

My wedding colours are Ivory and Dark Purple and I would like roses, orchids and calla lilies as my flowers, could you please do up an inspiration board with different roses, orchids and calla lilies for me?
Regards,
Brenda”

Brenda, I created your inspiration board with rose, orchids, and calla lilies in ivory and purple as per your request. Any combination of the flowers on this board will look beautiful in a wedding arrangement! Keep in mind you can always add ribbon around the stems with pearl pins, or even bouquet jewels to the bouquet to create a unique and custom bouquet. I hope this helps!

Mary’s Blue, Green, and Purple Wedding Inspiration Board

Mary writes:
“Hi, I hope you can help me …. My dress is ivory and navy blue. My bridesmaids are 3 in lime green dresses, 3 in deep purple and 3 in royal blue. My flower girl is in white and want her to drop rose petals. The best man and ushers vests match the bridesmaids gowns. My maid of honor is in a teal blue. What flowers should everyone carry? My wedding is the 28th of this month. Please help, Melissa”

Melissa, I created your inspiration board with all of the colors of your wedding party. I’d say use all the colors in your bouquets as they are all beautiful and match well. You could make the bouquets using all gerbera daisies, or use different flower types such as blue roses, green dahlia, purple anemone, and turqupise gerbera daisies. You could wrap an ivory ribbon around all the bouquet stems as well to bring in the ivory from your dress. I hope this helps!

Green Gerbera Daisy, Premium Blue Open Rose, Premium Purple Rose Bud, Green Hydrangea Bush, Blue Rose Petals, Blue Anemone, Green Spider Dahlia, Purple Anemone, Blue Gerbera Daisy, Violet Gerbera Daisy, Turquoise Gerbera Daisy.

Kaitlyn’s Lapis Purple, Violet, and Green Wedding Inspiration Board

Kaitlyn writes:
“I am working on picking silk flowers for my Oct 22, 2011 wedding. My bridesmaids dresses are a very deep purple (almost navy blue). My shoes match their dresses and I wanted my flowers to match the color too. I also have an accent color of a red-violet color and I wanted to add in lime green. Can you suggest some flowers for my wedding. If the deep purple is too hard to match, can you suggest complimentary colors?
-Kaitlyn”

Kaitlyn, I created your inspiration board with flowers in green, violet, and dark purple. I also included a few pre-made bouquets in these colors. Ones you could use on their own, or even add flowers to to make them personal. I think the middle bouquet on your board (rose and ranunculus) would look great next to the dresses, perhaps with a few violet flowers added to the mix. Or you could create the bouquets with green spider dahlias, violet gerbera daisies (dark purple), and the eggplant delphiniums. I hopes this helps gives you some ideas!

Tiffany’s Lime Green, Lavender, and Hot Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

Tiffany writes:
“Hi! I am having trouble picking out the flowers for my Spring wedding. The colors I have chosen are lilac/lavender, hot pink, lime green and black. My wedding dress has a rose print on it so I’d like to use roses as one of the flowers but I’m not sure about the rest of the flower selection. It will be an outdoor formal wedding in the evening so I don’t want to use casual looking flowers but I really love gerbera daisies. I also would like to use black ribbon for the bouquets and black sticks to accent the flowers arrangements throughout the reception. Please help. Thank you so much~ Tiffany”

Tiffany, I created your inspiration board with different flower types in lavender, pink, and green with black accents. I think the bouquets would look beautiful made up with lavender and green roses, hot pink dahlias, and lavender freesia accents. Wrap a black satin ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with colored pins to complete the look. For the centerpieces, you could dulplicate your bouquet flowers for arrangments on some of the tables and use black branches on others. Different arrangements and heights will add interest to the over all reception! View all our branches here: Decorative Branches
