Rustic Orange Wedding ~ Alisha’s Inspiration Board

Alisha writes: My fiance and I are having a fall wedding so our color theme will be burgundy (David’s Bridal Apple Red) orange, chocolate brown, and we will be using burlap and jute. Our flower budget is low.  I will be DIYing everything but since I have no prior experience, I would like simple round but beautiful bouquets.

Since you are going for DIY wedding and want to keep it simple – we recommend starting with a pre-made bouquet and simply adding additional flowers to it! You can complete the look by wrapping the bouquet stems with burlap and jute.

Fall Orange Bittersweet Centerpiece ~ Shakeena’s Inspiration Board

Shakeena writes: Our wedding colors are sunset orange and cranberry. attached is the centerpiece we are trying to recreate. can you let me know which products would create this and how much is needed to buy. we need 12 to 13 centerpieces made. Also, i have attached an image of the bouquet I want for myself and bridal party.

AfloralOffice_Orange_FallBittersweetCenterpieceArrangement_7-10-14

There are approximately 15-20 bittersweet sprays in that centerpiece – so you would need about 200-250 sprays to create 12-13 centerpieces just like that. The bouquets are gorgeous! To create bouquets like the photo, you are looking at 24-30 roses per bouquet. Though you can always go smaller for the bridesmaids.

Get the Goods:

Bittersweet Branches

Taper Vase

Reindeer Moss (around the top of the vase/bittersweet stems)

Submersible Lights

Colorful Peony Bouquet ~ Jessica’s Inspiration Board

Jessica writes:  Hi Mindy, I am a big fan of your designs, and was wondering if you could help me. My wedding is at the end of April. I opted for a turquoise/blue color for the bridesmaids with an accent color of yellow. I find that I like succulents, roses, peonies, and daisies. I lean towards multicolor bouquets, but am open to any suggestions. I am at a complete loss as to how to design something myself.  Thank you, Jessica M.
