Crystal Branch & Fuchsia Orchid Wedding Flower Centerpiece

Lori writes:
My daughter’s wedding theme is black and white damask. She wants the accent color to be a bright pink. It is a Dec 29th wedding and she wants some bling.  I would appreciate some ideas..since I am overwhelmed with all of this wedding stuff..lol. !!!!! We are thinking tall branches in a tall clear vase with some crystals. But I think that we need some of the pink in the tall vases on the tables to bring in some interest..and some bling of course.

Lori,
I found a perfect example of a branch centerpiece inspiration from Lisa Leigh via Exclusively Weddings.  It features bright Fuchsia Pink Orchids, Crystals Globes, and Hanging Votives attached to Mitsumata Branches.  For extra sparkle, accent your table decor with our Diamond Reflection Table Runners, Glittering Sequin Branches,  Hanging Crystals, Acrylic Ice and Votives.  For more how-to’s, please visit our Wedding Design Ideas.  Happy Planning, Mindy

Adrienne’s Old Hollywood Burgundy Inspiration Board

Adrienne writes:

Hi, I’m having a formal wedding in Oct 2012. The theme is “Old Hollywood Glamour from the 40s & 50s”. My colors are Black, White, Burgundy and “Bling” (lots of sparkle). We chose Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses that are floor length, strapless, in the Wine color. The ladies are wearing black lace bolero jackets and black opera length gloves to complete the look. It’s a pretty combo in person, especially with the guys’ black tuxedos, but I’m having difficulty A) finding silk flowers that compliment or match the Alfred Angelo wine color (burgundy flowers are too pink/purple and red is too Christmas red looking) and B) fit the glamour theme and don’t look too woodsy for fall, and C) I’m also trying to avoid a Gothic looking wedding too so I don’t want any black flowers. Other details…My dress is white and I don’t like calla lilies. Help me please???? I’m enclosing a photo of the bridesmaid dress as it appears in Red on their site just to show the style of it because the color changer makes it look pinkish instead of burgundy wine. Also enclosing the lace jacket we plan to wear.

Adrienne,
Your Old Hollywood wedding theme sounds gorgeous and it was a challenge finding a burgundy bouquet without the Calla Lilies, but I did.  The unique inspiration bouquet above is from Karen Alisa Photography and it features Burgundy Open Roses, Black and Burgundy Feathers and Fiddle Head.  For the sparkle, you can add Bling it On® to the center of each rose, like shown below, or Bouquet  Crystal and Jewels.   The premade Burgundy Mini Rose Bouquet is perfect for your bridesmaids. Wrap each of your bouquets with elegant black Sheer or Satin Ribbon.  Happy Planning, Mindy

Sabrina’s Vintage Black & White Inspiration Board

Sabrina writes:
I am having a 40s/50s style vintage wedding. I know black and white are a must, but I am thinking a pop of another color would be an added bonus. I know I want my bouquet to be simply black and white, but the bridesmaids bouquets I think could have the pop of color. I want it to remain vintage looking however. I think we are going to find “pinup” dresses for my bridesmaids and I am going to find a lace gown. Any advice in all areas would be highly appreciated!  Thank you, Sabrina

Sabrina,
This lush vintage looking bouquet is from Dan & Anne Photography.  It features White Ranunculus, Anemones, Stephanotis  and Lilacs.  For your bridesmaids you wanted a pop of color, so I chose our premade Anemone Bridal Bouquet with Fuchsia Ranunculus.  Wrap your bouquets with vibrant Fuchsia Sheer and Satin Ribbon.  Happy Planning, Mindy

Shea’s Fuchsia Pink Wedding Flower Inspiration Board

Shea writes:
Hi, I am getting married in May and having trouble figuring out what flowers to have. My colors are gray, fuchsia and black. The problem I’m having is matching the right shade of fuchsia. I don’t want anything to pink or anything to purple. If that makes sense?! I am pretty clueless when it comes to flowers but do like the orchids and calla lilies. I am open to ANY suggestions you have for me. I am just looking for something simple and easy to make myself. Thank you so much for your help!

Shea,
This striking Fuchsia inspiration photo comes from Flower Designs by Anne.  The bouquet features: Fuchsia Gerbera Daisies, Ranunculus, Open Roses & Peonies, Pink Orchids, and  Eggplant Calla Lilies.  To add a hint of gray from your color scheme, wrap with Silver Satin Ribbon.  Make your bouquet sparkle by adding Bling It On®, self adhesive rhinestones, to the centers of a few roses.  Happy Planning, Mindy
