Heather’s Black, White, and Wine Wedding Inspiration Board

Heather writes:
“Hi I was wondering if you could make an inspiration board for my black, white, and wine wedding. My dress is going to be white, my maid of honor is wearing the wine color from David’s Bridal and my other bridesmaids will be wearing black. Thanks in advance!
Heather”

Heather, I created your board with flowers in black, white, and a wine toned purple (violet). For the bouquets, why not make them using white and black roses with the violet gerbera daisies? Or the violet gerberas, black roses, with a few white lily accents. Finish off the bouquets by wrapping the stems with a black ribbon and accenting with wine or white pearl pins. I hope this helps!

Kim’s Jade, Ivory, Coral, and Brown Wedding Inspiration Board

Kim writes:
“Hi my name is Kim, I am getting married on the beach on April 23 2011. I am having the BM’s wear Alfred Angelos Jade style 7138. I want to do colors jade ivory with accents of corals and chocolate browns. This is inspired by wanting to use tropical colors but I want my flowers to have more of a romantic appeal like roses. Any ideas would be appreciated.”

Kim, I created your inspiration board with different flower types in the colors you mentioned above. What a beautiful color palette! I think the bouquets would look stunning made up with brown and ivory roses, peach apricot dahlias, and ivory phalaenopsis orchids (to bring in a hint of tropical). Accent with jade ribbon or bouquet jewels to complete the look. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Nadia’s Ivory and Apple Red Wedding Inspiration Board

Nadia writes:
“Hello, I am getting married December 25 at 7:30 in Florida on a yacht. My wedding theme color is apple red. My bridesmaids will be in apple and me in ivory. What color or mixture of color you would recommend for the decoration, what type of flowers and for me and my bridesmaids? For my bouquet I prefer roses.
Thank you”

Nadia, I created your inspiration board with flowers in red and ivory. I think you should make your bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets with ivory and red open roses and rose buds — add some red dahlia to the bridesmaids bouquets to make them a little from your own! You could even use red rose pomander balls for decoration. Complete the bouquets by wrapping the stems in red ribbon and accenting it with ivory pearl pins. I hope this helps!

Ms. Leblanc’s Ivory, Gold, and Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

Ms Leblanc writes:
“My wedding is in the Spring of 2011. My bridesmaids are wearing harvest gold satin dresses. We originally planned to marry November 2010, and gold is a wonderful fall color. Since I love it so much, I decided to stick with it. My dress is ivory and the gold compliments it well. My questions are: Would the bridesmaids bouquets look nice in shades of pink, wrapping the stem in ivory or gold? I will carry ivory flowers. The reception tables will have an ivory table cloth, with a sheer ivory with sparkles overlay. The chair covers are ivory with a sheer gold chair tie. I plan to use eiffel tower vases as the centerpiece for each table. I wanted to do the flowers in shades of pink and ivory. Flowers would include: pink tulips, pink roses, ivory roses, white hydrangeas for contrast, and greenery. I don’t really want to do red flowers because everyone does ivory, red, and gold. I don’t want a Christmas look since it is a Spring wedding. Thanks!”

I think that the color palette you have chosen as well as the flower types are perfect! I love the soft pink and ivory with the gold dresses. I created you an inspiration board with the flower you would like your bouquet to be made out of so you can see how beautiful it all looks together! Finish your bouquets look by wrapping a gold ribbon around the stems and accenting with ivory pearl pins. Congratulations!

Stormie’s White, Blue, and Plum Purple Wedding Inspiration Board

Stormie writes:
“Hi, My name is Stormie. I am having my wedding June 30 2011 in TX. My colors are purple and blue, and white is the accent color. Also I am wondering about what flowers would look good for my table centerpieces. I am going to be using blue and purple table runners with a white table cloth. My overall all feel of the wedding is casual elegance its an outside wedding, but under a white tin pavilion looks almost inside from pictures. I love Iris’s! I am going to be using silk flowers for all the table arrangements and am going to make them myself. So if you could help me with that I would be so happy.
Sincerely, Stormie”

Stormie, I created your inspiration board with flowers in white, blue, and purple. I think the bouquets would look beautiful made up of purple roses, white peonies, blue iris, and blue hydrangea accents. Wrap a blue ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent that with white pins to complete the bouquets. For the centerpieces, why not use clear vases filled with purple gems. Place a white wisteria in the vase and accent with approx. 3 blue iris. The wisteria, iris, and gems will look romantic! I hope this helps give you some ideas!
