Hi – Getting married in Cabo in October. Selected bridesmaid dresses from David’s bridal in guava and was thinking of a complimentary colour of yellow or orange or red – with white as the significant backdrop at the reception. Any ideas on themes or types of flowers native to the Baja area that would work well? I like a clean but fun look with simplicity, but an element of warmth.
All the signs are there: cooler nights, darker sky earlier in the evening, and school starting up again. They all point to one of our favorite seasons here at Afloral – Fall! This year we’ve been inspired by all of the rustic weddings that we’ve seen and we decided to put together some rustic and chic set-ups ourselves. We’ve got some great new products this year that we know you’re gonna love, and for the next few months we will be rolling out the how-to’s and inspiration boards to pass along this growing trend.
Of course, we couldn’t do this without someone behind the camera! We turned again to our favorite photographer, Elisha Orin of Orin Foto to work her lens magic. More of her lovely work can be seen at http://thatstalk.elishaorin.com/
We also wanted to say a special thank you to the Uhl’s for letting us use their gorgeous barn for our shoot. What gracious hosts, and their property is breathtaking. The barn was already strung with lights from previous weddings, and it wasn’t hard to see why barn weddings are such a big hit this year!
It was a gorgeous day and we came prepared with tons of different products to try out several different styles. From romantic and feminine to trendy and colorful, we had a blast putting together some great table set-ups, bouquets, and chair-back decorations.
We will be displaying them all for you in the upcoming weeks, but we couldn’t resist giving everyone a sneak peek now. All of these arrangements were completed with flowers and supplies that we carry on our site, excluding some of the containers and the mason jars. Many of these are incredibly budget-friendly although your guests won’t know that! Stay tuned for the inspiration boards, bigger pictures, and some how-to’s. Happy Autumn!
