Lola writes:  I purchased the Dahlia bouquets from this site. They are fuschia, orange and yellow. My bridesmaid dresses are watermelon which is close to fuschia. I want to create centerpieces that I can travel to Mexico with, Therefore, little to no glass. I would like it to be all floral I am not particular about flower type.

I would like to make my bouquets & boutonnieres  for our destination wedding in Punta Cana in March 2014. Our wedding colors are coral, teal/aqua, and I’ve used some tan so far (burlap on our invites). I’m not extremely picky & I don’t really have a picture in my mind of what I want them to look like. I’d love for you to give me some guidance! Thank you!!

Suzanne’s Tropical Wedding Flower Inspiration Board

Photo Courtesy of Elisha Orin Photographer

{Suzanne’s Request}
Hi – Getting married in Cabo in October. Selected bridesmaid dresses from David’s bridal in guava and was thinking of a complimentary colour of yellow or orange or red – with white as the significant backdrop at the reception. Any ideas on themes or types of flowers native to the Baja area that would work well? I like a clean but fun look with simplicity, but an element of warmth.

I think any flowers in tropical shades will work well with your Cabo San Lucas destination wedding.  This real island wedding inspiration photo is courtesy of one of our favorite photographers, Elisha Orin,  and it features Creamy Pink Ranunculus, Orange Roses, Pink Calla Lilies & Roses, White Roses, and Pittosporum Greenery.  Finish this bouquet with White Satin Ribbon.  Happy Planning, Mindy

Cynthia’s Vibrant Destination Inspiration Board

Cynthia writes:

I love your website, and videos they are very informative. I am having a destination wedding in Jamaica in August.  Our children will be our entire wedding party (3 girls & 1 boy). I would like to create silk flower bouquets and would like your assistance in ordering flowers from your site.  The bridal bouquet will consist of all the colors for the bridal party.  I would like to use lilacs, orchids, calla lilies, tulips & lily of the valley. Is this possible and how many of each floral piece shoud I use.  The bridesmaid bouquets will be the same color of their dress, which colors I am attaching.  VO – will be wearing blue, MO – will be wearing kelly, KC – will be wearing orange and Bride – a combination of all three colors.  I will also need to make a smaller version for the toss bouquet.  Many thanks, Cynthia

Cynthia, nothing sounds better than a destination wedding in Jamaica and how special you chose your children to play such a big role.  I appreciate that you included the color swatches.  They were very helpful in selecting the right shades for the bouquets.  I found the perfect tropical bouquet inspiration from La Vie en Rose Flowers and Gifts that includes:  Green Orchids, Orange Roses, Orchids and Calla Lilies and Blue Cosmos.  To finish your bouquet, wrap in in our bright Orange Organza Ribbon.  Happy Planning, Mindy
