Eggplant & White Wedding Flowers ~ Melinda’s Inspiration Board

Melinda writes:  I have ordered bunches and bunches of flowers from Afloral lately, but I’m still not satisfied with my vision. So I thought I would see if you could help. The wedding colors are eggplant, white, silver, and black, and the wedding/reception will be in the late morning and early afternoon. My daughter doesn’t like anything big and overstated, but, rather, simple and classic. She’s not getting married until mid 2015 so we have plenty of time to nail this down.  Thanks so much.  Melinda

{Britany’s Request}
Hi! I’m planning a fairly casual daytime wedding and reception March 16, 2013. My colors are black and white with an accent color of red. My problem is trying to find matching red color because my dress has accents of a deeper red called claret. I would like to use roses as my main flower.

I think the inspiration photo via Lucy Dylan Weddings will go perfect with your black, white and red color scheme.  This simple bouquet consists of Cream~White Anemones, Star of Bethlehem, Hydrangeas, & Open Roses,  Deep Burgundy~Red  Bud Roses & Berry Sprays, and Dusty Miller Greenery.  To finish the bouquet, wrap with Black Satin Ribbon.

Sabrina’s Vintage Black & White Inspiration Board

I am having a 40s/50s style vintage wedding. I know black and white are a must, but I am thinking a pop of another color would be an added bonus. I know I want my bouquet to be simply black and white, but the bridesmaids bouquets I think could have the pop of color. I want it to remain vintage looking however. I think we are going to find “pinup” dresses for my bridesmaids and I am going to find a lace gown. Any advice in all areas would be highly appreciated!  Thank you, Sabrina

This lush vintage looking bouquet is from Dan & Anne Photography.  It features White Ranunculus, Anemones, Stephanotis  and Lilacs.  For your bridesmaids you wanted a pop of color, so I chose our premade Anemone Bridal Bouquet with Fuchsia Ranunculus.  Wrap your bouquets with vibrant Fuchsia Sheer and Satin Ribbon.  Happy Planning, Mindy

I’m getting married in May! I’m having trouble deciding on a bouquet. I have found that I absolutely ADORE the anemone! Our colors are black, ivory, and gray (dark and light). I can’t decide which of the two anemones available I like more! The single stems look different from the ones used in the bundle. Peonies are another favorite of mine. My dress is Ivory with black lacy type flowers at the bottom. Another problem I’m having is trying to decide what to do for boutonnieres and corsages (parents and grandparents) Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you so much! Jessica

I found the perfect inspiration photo from Orange Blossom Flowers that features: Cream Anemones, Ivory Peonies & Roses, and Black Feathers.  To finish your bouquet, wrap with elegant Black Satin Ribbon.  I included a Cream Rose Corsage and we carry several premade Boutonnieres.  Happy Planning,  Mindy!
