Amanda’s Pink and Green Wedding Inspiration Board

Amanda writes:
“My wedding is in late July on a golf course in Maine in the mountains, and my colors are pink and green. I have not picked out bridesmaid dresses yet, however I do have my dress. It is an ivory color. I am looking for bright colors to POP in the wedding, but I am at a loss for flowers, I like too many, Roses, Hydrangeas, Orchids, Dahlias…etc. I need help!!”

Amanda, I created your inspiration board with flowers in shades of pink, green, and hints of ivory/cream. I also selected a bridesmaids dress in pink and green — so you can take a look at the flowers next to the dress! I think the bouquets would look gorgeous made up of green and pink dahlia, pink roses, a touch of pink and green orchids, and creamy hydrangea accents. Wrap a green ribbon around the stems and accent with pink pins to complete the look. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Dress from Dessy.

Samantha’s Plum, Lilac, Rose, Burgundy, and Olive Inspiration Board

Samantha writes:
“I really need help putting together a spring color wedding. Our colors are plum, rose pink, purple, lilac, burgandy, olive. Could you set up a board for me?”

Samantha, I created your inspiration board with different flower types in the above mentioned colors. The deep plum and burgundy will be a nice contrast to the lighter lilac and rose colors. For the bouquets, why not make them with a combination of burgundy roses, eggplant calla lilies, rose colored open roses, and lilac and green hydrangea accents. Wrap a colored ribbon around the bouquet stems to finish it off. I hope this helps!

Angela’s Victorian Lilac and Charcoal Gray Inspiration Board

Angela writes:
“Hi, my name is Angela, and I am getting married in October 2010. My colors are victorian lilac and charcoal gray. I found your website and thought it was really neat how you created these brides to help out brides, so I was really hoping that you could create a board for me using these colors to help give me some ideas. Thank you.”

Angela, I created your inspiration board using various shades of purple with silver/gray accents. I included purples that matched the dress, as well as a few darker colors and even a periwinkle (which I just love paired with soft purple and gray/silver). I think the bouquets would look beautiful created with the periwinkle dahlia, lavender roses, with the antique lavender hydrangeas. If you want to add in a deeper color, use the sweetpea instead of the hydrangea. Then, you can accent your bouquet with beautiful gray eucalyptus and wrap the bouquet stems with a silver ribbon.

Tiffany’s Eggplant Purple and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

Tiffany writes:
“Well my wedding is coming up in February and I just left your site and have an order ready to be place I would like to see the colors and flowers together. They are plum or eggplant. I picked the anemones for this one ivory, gray, black, and pops of silver. Can you create a board for me using these it will totally help?”

Tiffany, I created your board using flowers in shades of purple and ivory. I made sure to include lots of anemones, and also added some roses. I think anemones are truly stunning flowers, even on there own! I think the bouquets would look wonderful created with different purple and cream anemones. If you’d like to add another flower, why not use ivory roses and various purple anemone? Wrap a black ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with silver pins to bring in the other wedding colors. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Kristina’s Purple, Red, and Yellow Wedding Inspiration Board

Kristina writes:
“Hi,

My wedding is going to be in July of 2011. I want to use purple as my main color but I’m not sure what other color I should use…I’m currently kind of in between yellow, red, or pink. As for which flowers I should use, I want roses but not in the color purple. I’d also like to use some tulips but I don’t know how available they are in the summer; also I love ranunculus.

Thanks in advance!
Kristina”

Kristina, I created your inspiration board in 2 different halves. On the left I used softer shades of purple and yellow paired with pink. On the right, darker tones with red flowers. I like the darker tones as they are a bit more summery in my opinion, however both combinations are beautiful! I think the bouquets would be beautiful made with a collection of roses, rose buds, and ranunculus. If you went with silk flowers, tulips would be not problem and you could add them as a nice accent flower! Wrap the stems with a bit of ribbon to finish them off! I hope this helps!
