Annie’s Midnight Blue, Yellow, and Ivory Inspiration Board

Annie writes:
“LeAnne,

My name is Annie and I am getting married the evening of May 7th. I am wearing an ivory lace and beaded gown and my bridesmaids are wearing midnight blue gowns. I would love to have a little punch of yellow as well. I would love any help with suggestions that you could give me. Help!

Thank you,
Annie”

Annie, I created your inspiration board with flowers in ivory, blue, and yellows. I love the idea of adding yellow flowers to the arrangements as they will really make them “pop.” For the bouquets, why not make them using blue roses and tulips, ivory and yellow gerbera daisies, and small yellow daffodil accents. Wrap a navy ribbon around the stems to add in more of the deep blue color. For the centerpieces, how about making them with the yellow and ivory gerberas in a short square container. Maybe the container could be dark blue — or clear and wrap a blue ribbon around that as well. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Holly’s Purple, Turquoise, and Brown Wedding Inspiration Board

Holly writes:
“I am getting married June 11, 2010 and like many other brides I have chosen a peacock theme. I don’t want to over-do-it with the peacocks, but would like your input on fresh flower selection. I am planning on using a bright purple, chocolate brown, and a peacock green/blue. I definitely want to incorporate fiddlehead ferns into my bouquet. What other suggestions would you make?
Thanks,
Holly”

Holly, I am in love with fiddlehead ferns as well and think they will make a wonderful additional to your wedding arrangements. I created your inspiration board with flowers in blue, turquoise, brown, and purple. I think the bouquets would look great made up with brown roses, purple iris, and turquiose ranunculus (or blue roses depending on the blue you want to use). Then, you can add in the ferns and a hint of peacock feathers to tie it all together and complete the look! I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Yoshika’s Tealness, Expresso, and Champagne Inspiration Board

Yoshika writes:
“Hi my name is Yoshika and I trying to get some for floral ideas for my October 2011 wedding. My colors are tealness, espresso, and champaigne from Alfred Angelo’s collection. Thanking you in advance for your help.
Bride to be,
Yoshika”

Yoshika, what a beautiful color palette! I created your inspiration board with flowers in dark turquoise, brown, and tan/champagne. I think the bouquets would look beautiful created with the tan peonies, turquoise ranunculus, and brown roses. To bring a little more teal/turquoise to the mix, you can always wrap a turquoise ribbon around the bouquet stems. I hope you like your inspiration board!

Amanda’s Pink and Green Wedding Inspiration Board

Amanda writes:
“My wedding is in late July on a golf course in Maine in the mountains, and my colors are pink and green. I have not picked out bridesmaid dresses yet, however I do have my dress. It is an ivory color. I am looking for bright colors to POP in the wedding, but I am at a loss for flowers, I like too many, Roses, Hydrangeas, Orchids, Dahlias…etc. I need help!!”

Amanda, I created your inspiration board with flowers in shades of pink, green, and hints of ivory/cream. I also selected a bridesmaids dress in pink and green — so you can take a look at the flowers next to the dress! I think the bouquets would look gorgeous made up of green and pink dahlia, pink roses, a touch of pink and green orchids, and creamy hydrangea accents. Wrap a green ribbon around the stems and accent with pink pins to complete the look. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Samantha’s Plum, Lilac, Rose, Burgundy, and Olive Inspiration Board

Samantha writes:
“I really need help putting together a spring color wedding. Our colors are plum, rose pink, purple, lilac, burgandy, olive. Could you set up a board for me?”

Samantha, I created your inspiration board with different flower types in the above mentioned colors. The deep plum and burgundy will be a nice contrast to the lighter lilac and rose colors. For the bouquets, why not make them with a combination of burgundy roses, eggplant calla lilies, rose colored open roses, and lilac and green hydrangea accents. Wrap a colored ribbon around the bouquet stems to finish it off. I hope this helps!
