My daughter is having a Halloween wedding, her table colors will be black and burgandy. Her favorite flower is calla lily. I am looking for inspiration for the flower arrangements at the church using her favorite flower and her color scheme/theme but I am having trouble. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
You could always make the bouquets using dark burgundy calla lilies in a hand-tied style. Accent the bouquet with black ostrich feathers or simply wrap the stems with a black satin ribbon and perhaps accent with burgundy pearl headed pins. Check out the video below to see how to make a general hand-tied calla lily bouquet:

I was wondering if you have hot pink/ fuchsia color roses for boutonnieres and for bouquets…I wanted a full hot pink/fuchsia rose bridal bouquet and then for the bridesmaids i wanted a white bouquet with some fuchsia roses in there. And also do you make a hot pink/fuchsia rose ball? please let me know…
Unfortunately we do not do any flower designing or arranging here at this time. All the items we have in stock are available to view online at http://www.afloral.com. We do not have any fuchsia rose boutonnieres or kissing balls at this time. However we do sell all the products to create these items as well as free how-to videos.
I have just started planning for my May 2011 wedding and have chosen the colours purple (grape) and black. I want to have a calla lilly bouquet in purple and have bought a few of your wine and eggplant calla lillies to start off my bouquet. I was thinking of also adding in some white calla lillies but I am wondering if I should change it up a bit and add in another flower and I saw the cymbidium orchads in lilac. Just wondered what you thought of this combination together or if you '
could give me another suggestion on what I might add to the bouquet. I don't know whether I should keep the entire bouquet in purple tones or add in some white. Any suggestions or help you could offer would be great, I have seen the suggestions and things on here you have offered and just love them. Thanks.
SInce your colors are purple and black, I would suggest making the bouquets using just purple flowers. You could create the bouquets with calla lilies and orchids for an exotic look, or pair the calla lilies with roses or ranunculus to create a more traditonal and round shaped bouquets. Bring the in the black color by finishing off your bouquet with a black satin ribbon wrapped around the stems — this will look stunning with the purple flowers!
Need suggestions on which color silk flowers look best with David's Bridal Sangria and Fern colors. The bridesmaids are wearing sangria gowns and the groomsmen are wearing black tux with fern vest.
Thanks
Violet actually is a very close color to sangria. i would suggest creating the wedding arrangements with violet and burgundy with some darker green accent flowers (like hydrangea or bells of ireland). If this color palette is too dark, you could always lighten the violet up with soft pink flowers instead of the burgundy.
Hey! I was planning on having an aqua blue and red wedding now we are going to incorparate black into it as well (his request). I was thinking white and red flowers with black and aqua blue ribbons tied around the stems. That's the best I could come up with on my own, any suggestions?
I think it sounds fantastic! The red and white flowers will be striking and with the ribbons — gorgeous!!! You could always add in a small aqua accent flower to the bouquets as well, I just love aqua and deep red together. Can you please explan the best way to use the lights for centerpieces??? are they best used with floating candles?? and rocks ???> help – thank you
Are you interested in the submersible floralytes? Depending on the look you would like to achieve, these can be used in a variety of ways. They can be used simply in votive holders, or submerged underwater. We would recommend using gems, stones, or crystals to fill the base of the container enough to cover the light themselves. You can also use these in a vase with gems, stones or rocks with no water. The floralytes are LED and very bright — so the light will still show nicely through the stones.
I'm trying to pick flowers out for my aug 2010 wedding. My colors are red and black. I also wanted to include our month flowers. I was born in july, my fiance in may. Ideas?
The July flower of the month is Water Lily or Larkspur (which is a purple flower) and May's is the Lily-of-the-Valley. Why not create your bouuets using red with small hints of white. For example you could use red roses and accent with cream or white lily-of-the-valley. Wrap a black ribbon around the bouquet stems to compete the look. You could then incorporate the water lilies by using them in the centerpieces. Example, clear vase, colored gems, submersible light, and a floating water lily would be gorgeous!
I am getting married September 18th. the bride who had the May wedding, is she will to see any of her floral items? My colors are purple and silver. Thanks!
