“Good morning, I am helping my friend put together her bouquet and floral table arrangements for her August 7, 2010 wedding. Her colors are black, white, charcoal grey and yellow. The wedding and reception are outdoors, and her hope is to have a very upscale look with a bit of whimsy thrown in. The table arrangements thus far incorporate glass vases, black rock, and white candles. We also purchased a couple white ostrich feathers to use possibly in the bouquet. I have looked at (and loved) other designs you have put together and cannot wait to see what you come up with! Liza”
Liza, I created your inspiration board with flowers in white and yellow with grey/silver and black accents. I did also include a black peony flower. I’m not sure if you would be interested in incorporated any actual black flowers in the bouquets, but just in case. If not, I think the bouquets would look great made up with white roses, yellow lilies, and white hydrangeas. You could accent the bouquet with black bouquet jewels or grey pussy willow branches. Complete the look by wrapping the stems with a black satin ribbon and accenting that with grey/silver pearl pins. You can them make smaller arrangements like the bouquet to use as smaller floral centerpieces in the glass vases with the rocks to secure them. Too many flowers? Simply use the premium hydrangeas as they are a beautiful and large flower all on their own. I hope this helps give you some ideas!
