To get started you will need to gather your supplies.  You can order these high-quality faux flowers and greenery online at Afloral.com.  For this DIY Oh Everything Handmade used 5 Eucalyptus sprays in green, 4 Cabbage Rose sprays in cream, 2 Ranunculus sprays in white, 2 Ranunculus bushes in rose pink, floral tape/floral wire/green plastic ties, and wire cutters.

Cut the individual flowers and stems from each of your sprays and bushes with wire cutters.  Trim down the stems if they are long.

You will be creating two swags and attaching them in the middle to make a full and symmetrical garland.  The first thing you want to do is bundle several of your stems together.

Secure these stems using floral tape, floral wire, or plastic ties.  For this table runner Oh Everything Handmade used plastic ties. Plastic ties will create a tight hold that lasts.  This is great, because faux flower arrangements can be used over and over.  Make sure to clip the ends of the plastic ties with scissors.

Secure several of the bundles together, working down the stems in a pattern.  Use the larger cabbage roses to cover the plastic ties as you go.

When  you have a look and you are happy with the length, repeat these steps to create the second swag.  Remember, you want these two swags to mirror each other.

When both swags are complete you can attach the stems together with your plastic ties to create the full garland.  Clip any left over plastic ties and long stems.  The middle will not have any flowers.  You can cover this with ribbon or a centerpiece.  Now you are ready to decorate your table!

For this Easter table, Oh Everything Handmade covered the middle with a delicious cake and filled in the garland with colorful eggs.

You can use any of the extra stems to create adorable little arrangements with easter eggs and clear glass cylinder vases.
