Miranda writes:
“Hi, my name is Miranda. My colors are baby blue and lavender. I was thinking having a ball of the Hydrangeas and adding couple calla lilies and roses. The hydrangeas would be blue and lavender, the calla lilies and roses would be white. If you have and other ideas please let me know. My wedding is July 3 2010 if that helps at all. Thank you”

Miranda, I created your inspiration board with hydrangea flowers in lavender and blue, as well as a white rose and calla lily — since this is what you mentioned you would like to make your wedding arrangements out of. I think this is a very beauitful and romantic idea! I think created the kissing balls is a fantastic idea! For the bouquets, I would do the exact same thing but perhaps add lavender rose buds and white hanging wisteria to them as well. This will give the bouquets an even more whimsical look! I hope you like your board.

Kari’s Blue, Orange, and Pink Inspiration Board

ByLeAnne

Kari writes:
“LeAnne,

I am the personal attendant for my Sister-in-Law and they are getting married in June. She is looking for ideas for her bouquets. She will be wearing a stark white dress, her bridesmaid will be in cornflower blue dresses, the groomsmen will be in khaki pants and either light blue dress shirts or faded orange dress shirts.
She was hoping to use daisies, gerberas, I think. And she was thinking of bright oranges, blues, and maybe some bright pinks. Overall the color scheme is cornflower blue and brown, but I think she wants to add some color to it with the flowers.
Kari”

Kari, I created your inspiration board using a mix of blue, orange, and pink flowers. I think that if you made the bouquet with the orange ranunculus, blue anemone, and pink gerbera daisy it would look beautiful. You could use the orange ribbon and pink pins to tie off the bouquet and complete the look. You could also add the blue ting to the bouquet for a little added “pop” of color and height. I hope this will help!

The flowergirl dress is also from Light in the Box.”

Cateasha, I created your inspiration board with flowers in corl/pink, cream tones, and yellow. The combination of these colors is so beautiful and romantic. I think the bouquets would look great made of up the pink and yellow open roses, creamy peach rose buds, and accented with yellow sweetpea. Then, you can wrap a yellow ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent that with ivory pins. I hope you like your board.

Cayla’s Coral and Turquoise Wedding Inspiration Board

In CategoryPink & Fantastic Fuchsias, Spring Lights, Terrific Teals
ByLeAnne

Cayla writes:
“Hi. I am getting married June 2010, and my colors are Coral (Bright Pinky Coral) and Turquoise. I would like to use the Coral from Alfred Angelo’s collection of Bridesmaid dresses. It will be at night, so I want it to be elegant and fairytale like. Can you suggest some good flowers to use, and a inspiration board? Thank you so much!
Cayla”

Cayla, I created your inspiration board with flowers in peachy pinks and turquoise. I think the bouquets would look stunning (and elegant) with the rose cream peonies, light pink roses, and turquoise ranunculus accents. If you don’t want a turquoise flower in the bouquets, you could always wrap the bouquet stems with turquoise ribbon instead. I hope this helps give you some ideas.

Megan’s Pink and Peach Wedding Inspiration Board

ByLeAnne

Megan writes:
“I know my colors are going to be peach and pink, the wedding isnt until 2011, but I want to be somewhat prepared and not wait til the last minute! As for flowers I like lilies and tiger lilies. Any ideas?!
Megan”

Megan, I created your inspiration board with peach and pink flowers. I put a few different pink shades on the board, so you could see if you like a brighter pink or a softer tone. I also included yellow lilies in case you wanted to add a 3rd color into the mix. Personally, I think the bouquets would look nice with open roses and rose buds in peach accented with the bright pink lily. The for centerpieces, you could get short glass vases add 2-3 peach open roses and 1-2 large lilies (depending on how big you want the centerpieces). I attached a photo below as an example! I hope this helps!

Nicole writes:
“Hi my name is Nicole and I am getting married in July. I want purples, pinks, and a little bit of yellows. I know I want lillies for sure and snapdragons. I want my centerpieces and bouquets to have flowers. Thanks!”

Nicole, I created your inspiration board with flowers in pink, purple, and yellow. I made sure to include lilies and snapdragons, as well as a few other flower types that will match well. Perhaps for the bouquets, you could use pink peony, the 2 purple snapdragons, and accent with yellow lilies. Then, you could wrap a lavender/purple ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with pink pins. I hope this helps!

Crystal’s Spring and Clover Green Wedding Inspiration Board

In CategoryGoing Green, Pink & Fantastic Fuchsias, Spring Lights
ByLeAnne

Crystal writes:
“Hi my name is Crystal. I’ve been looking around for silk wedding bouquets. My bridesmaids are wearing dresses from David’s bridal in the color clover with an accent of candy pink sash. The wedding is next spring so I wanted my flowers to be spring colors. I would like roses and lilies but not calla lilies. I was thinking my bouquet would have the lilies and be bigger. I’m open to other flower suggestions. Thank you so much”

Crystal, I created your inspiration board using flowers in pink, yellow, and even touches of a purple/lavender. I used mostly roses and lilies, but included a few other flower types as well. I thought the bouquets would look great with a combination of roses — say pink and yellow and accented with either the periwinkle dahlia or the lavender rose buds. Then, for the bridal bouquet you could add the pink garden lilies! I hope this helps give you some ideas.
