Rosanna writes:
“Hello!

I’m an Italian girl getting married in Ireland, at Cloghan Castle:
http://www.cloghancastle.com/ with a Valentino for Pronovias gown.
The color I chose is… well, shades of ivory! I mean, ivory, light pink, platinum and champagne/light taupe/latte. It is going to be a vintage glam wedding… the gown has Alencon lace, I want tulle, ribbons, candles and feathers all around, and I love pearls.

Because I don’t know much about flowers, I don’t even know what to ask from the florist. I would love for you to help me out :)

Thanks!
Rosanna”

Rosanna, I created your inspiration board using flowers in shades of ivory and light pink. I also included candles, ribbon, pins, and a pearl spray! For the bouquets, why not created them using the rose cream peonies, vanilla roses, and beige magnolias. You could even add in some cream calla lilies for added elegance. To complete the bouquet you could accent the flowers with the pearl sprays, add a silver ribbon around the bouquet stems, and insert ivory pins into the ribbon. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Miranda writes:
“Hi, my name is Miranda. My colors are baby blue and lavender. I was thinking having a ball of the Hydrangeas and adding couple calla lilies and roses. The hydrangeas would be blue and lavender, the calla lilies and roses would be white. If you have and other ideas please let me know. My wedding is July 3 2010 if that helps at all. Thank you”

Miranda, I created your inspiration board with hydrangea flowers in lavender and blue, as well as a white rose and calla lily — since this is what you mentioned you would like to make your wedding arrangements out of. I think this is a very beauitful and romantic idea! I think created the kissing balls is a fantastic idea! For the bouquets, I would do the exact same thing but perhaps add lavender rose buds and white hanging wisteria to them as well. This will give the bouquets an even more whimsical look! I hope you like your board.

Shelly’s Dusty Rose Wedding Inspiration Board

Shelly writes:
“Hi,
My daughter is getting married in May of 2011 she would like the color dusty rose for the dresses. What color and style of flowers would look great with that? I want to order the silver boutonniere pins from your store. I think they are the greatest and so dressy and it’s something different. Please let me know thanks.
Shelly”

Shelly, I created your inspiration board using flower in different shades of pink and cream. If you wanted to add another color to the flowers to brighten it up a bit, you could pair the pinks with a soft yellow. I think the bouquets would look gorgeous made up with the rose cream peonies, some wild roses, and cream dahlia accents! Then you could wrap a dusty rose ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with pearl headed pins. I hope this helps!

Megan’s Pink and Peach Wedding Inspiration Board

Megan writes:
“I know my colors are going to be peach and pink, the wedding isnt until 2011, but I want to be somewhat prepared and not wait til the last minute! As for flowers I like lilies and tiger lilies. Any ideas?!
Megan”

Megan, I created your inspiration board with peach and pink flowers. I put a few different pink shades on the board, so you could see if you like a brighter pink or a softer tone. I also included yellow lilies in case you wanted to add a 3rd color into the mix. Personally, I think the bouquets would look nice with open roses and rose buds in peach accented with the bright pink lily. The for centerpieces, you could get short glass vases add 2-3 peach open roses and 1-2 large lilies (depending on how big you want the centerpieces). I attached a photo below as an example! I hope this helps!

Amanda’s Sugar Plum and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

Amanda writes:
“Hi LeAnne! I am not a girl who is big on flowers, so I have no idea where to begin and am open to any and all suggestions! My wedding is in April 2010 on a yacht in Miami at sunset. My bridesmaid dresses are Alfred Angelo style #7002 in Sugar Plum. My dress is ivory. Please help this floral novice! Thanks!
Amanda”

Amanda, I created your inspiration board with a few flower types in ivory, soft pink, and an antique lavender. Since your wedding is April of next year, I included some of our spring flowers that we will be stocking in a few months. For the bouquets, why not create the bridesmaids with cream/ivory and the soft pink. Then, you can add the antique lavender colored flowers to your bouquet to make them a bit bolder and different. I love the combination of the vanilla roses, the lavender peonies, and the blush pink magnolia — they are so romantic looking! I hope this helps!

Danielle’s Purple, Pink, and Green Wedding Inspiration Board

ByLeAnne

Danielle writes:
“Hello. My colors for my wedding are shades of purple I like the look of wild flowers. I am going for a look of walking through a wildflower field. But want to use only mainly purples, light and dark, some white, some green, some hints if pink maybe as well. But I just dont want the arrangments to look like bouquets. I look forward to hearing your ideas so I cant start my project! Thanks for your help

Danielle”

Danielle, I created your inspiration board with mostly flowers that have that “wildflower” appearance! Any combination of these single flower stems and bushes will make gorgeous flower arrangements that look like wildflower bunches. For your bouquets, you can create them to look like the pre-made bouquet on your board — hand-tied and maybe wrapped with some natural raffia. I hope you like your inspiration board!
