Jennifer’s Real Wedding Bouquet Photo

Jennifer writes:
“Hi,
On December 30th you posted my inspiration board, I had also emailed you a picture of a bouquet i loved and you were kind enough to assist me in flowers from your site.

Here are a couple pictures of my completed bouquet. Thanks for all your help, i will be sure to recommend you to friends.

-Note: A recomendation to other girls, I think spending a few extra dollars on like 5 or 6 of the real touch flowers make it so worth it because they really do look so real.

Thanks
Jennifer”

Melanie’s Sangria, Pink, Green, and White Inspiration Board

Melanie writes:
“Hello,
I have seen so many of your inspiration boards, and never thought that I would need one created just for me. My wedding is in October 2010 and I am having trouble picking out flowers I think will go with Sangria and Silver wedding. My fiance is going to be wearing silver to match the accents in my dress which is white. Our wedding party is going to be wearing the Sangria color. Can you please help?? I thought I wanted to go with bright/light colors like pink, green, purple, and white, but after seeing some of these boards with darker colors I am not sure what to do. I cannot wait to see what you create.
Thank you so much,
Melanie”

Melanie, I actually very much love the idea of pairing brighter shades with the sangria. The whole color palette really “pops.” I created your inspiration board using brighter pinks, greens, white, and violet (which is like sangrai). I think the bouquets would look stunning made with a combination of these colors — perhaps with the violet dahlia, pink and white roses, and either green spider dahlia or calla lilies. Wrap a silver ribbon around the stems to tie in the silver color to finish off the bouquets. I hope this helps give you some inspiration!

Dress from David’s Bridal. Items used to create Melanie’s Sangria, Pink, Green, and White Wedding Inspiration Board.

Dark Violet Gerbera Daisy, Rubrum Stargazer Lily, Premium Pink Open Rose, Green Calla Lily, White Open Rose, Violet Dahlia, Green Spider Dahlia.

Teresa’s Tiffany Blue, Pink, and Brown Wedding Inspiration Board

Teresa writes:
“Hi, my daughter is getting married in July 2010. It is an outdoor wedding with a casual reception that will be partially indoor/outdoor. The food is BBQ and she wants to create a casual atmosphere at the reception.

The dress is seafoam/tiffany blue in color. She would like to accent with chocolate brown, but she also likes pink. Is there any way to incorporate all of those colors into the wedding/reception?

Teresa”

Teresa, absolutely! I think the combination of pink, turquoise blue, and brown is so soft and beautiful! I created your board with these 3 colors and kept the flowers very simple. I think a nice bouquet of rose and gerbera daisies will be perfect for a casual yet beautiful wedding! Perhaps the brown roses with the pink and turquoise daisies. Or you could make them with brown roses, turquoise gerbera daisies, and pink peonies. I hope this helps!

Bobbie’s Pink and Orange Wedding Inspiration Board

Bobbie writes:
“Hello,
I’m getting married in October 2010 and need help deciding on the bouquets. It’s a tropical theme, and I really really really love hibiscus and plumeria flowers, but I know its hard to coordinate the colors of the flowers with the colors of my girl’s dresses. The colors are pink and orange, and the girl’s dresses are mixed. Please help.”

Bobbie, I created your inspiration board with flowers in orange, pink, and a salmon color that is a nice combination of the 2 — and look great next to the dress!! I also used various tropical looking flowers. I think the bouquet would look great made up with the peach dalias, salmon roses, and pink orchids or hibiscus. You could even add in some orange bird of paradie or green tropical leaf accents! I hope you like your inspiration board.

Items used to create Bobbie’s Pink and Orange Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):

Peach Apricot Dahlia, Pink Phalaenopsis Orchid, Orange Bird of Paradise, Salmon Open Rose, Pink Hibiscus Bush, Light Pink Satin Edge Ribbon, Split Philodendron Leaf, Smoked Pink Open Rose.

Mallory’s Fuchsia, Pink, and Silver Wedding Inspiration Board

Mallory writes:
“Hello,
Can you help with my wedding flowers? Our colors are fuschia and pewter and the theme of our wedding is vintage Hollywood glam. I want the bridesmaids to carry bright fuschia or hot pink flowers and my bouquet to be a mix of softer pink, fuschia and ivory. My dress is simple, vintage and elegant and in diamond white. Not sure what colors the bridesmaids are wearing yet it’s between black and pewter.
Thanks
Mallory”

Mallory, I created your inspiration board with flowers in pink, fuchsia, and ivory. I think the bouquets and arrangements would look great made up with a combination of pink peonies and roses. All bright pink roses and peonies for the girls and lighter pinks and ivory in yours! Using the roses and peonies will be more inexpesive since you’ll need leses flowers to create these looks. Add in hydrangea to help as well (especially in the arrangements), since these have a nice, large flower head as well. You can finish your bouquets off by wrapping the stems in either a black or silver ribbon — or black ribbon with silver pins. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Items used to create Mallory’s Fuchsia, Pink, and Silver Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):

Premium Fuchsia Pink Hydrangea, Pink Open Rose, Ivory Magnolia, Silver Satin Edge Ribbon, Fuchsia Open Rose, Ivory Triple Pearl Pins, Cream Pink Peony, Fuchsia Cream Peony (coming soon!).

Rachael’s Watermelon Pink and Latte Wedding Inspiration Board

Rachael writes:
“Hello,

I’m getting married on October 2, 2010 and my colors are watermelon and latte from David’s Bridal. I love stargazer lilies, sorbonne lilies, gerbera daises, and calla lilies. I would like to incorporate my colors, but also colors of fall since it is a fall wedding. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thank you
Kind regards,
Rachael”

Rachael, I created your inspiration board with a few different flower types and colors. Initially you mentioned you wanted fall colors in your wedding arrangement, but thought maybe to do whites or creams instead. I created your board with both so you can see the differences! If you went with bright fall colored accents in yellow and orange — the colors look quite good together! Or you make them with cream and beige instead, whichever you prefer. I think if you made the bouquets with roses, calla lilies, and stargazer lilies — any combination of colors from your board with look great! I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Dresses from David’s Bridal. Items used to create Rachael’s Watermelon Pink and Latte Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):

Rubrum Stargazer Lily, Orange Gerbera Daisy, Pink Triple Pearl Pins, Cream White Half Opening Rose, Fuchsia Gerbera Daisy, Yellow Gerbera Daisy, Beige Open Rose, Fuchsia Calla Lily, Yellow Pink Calla Lily.

Philis’s Aubergine, Dusty Pink, and Berry Inspiration Board

Philis writes:
“Hello

I am getting married in Tuscany in spring. Your inspiration boards have really helped me think through colours in the planning process. I am having 7 bridesmaids, 3 in aubergine, 2 in dusky pink and 2 in berry which with the fabric I have chosen all tone in together.

I love softer flowers like peonies, open roses, anemones etc and would really appreciate some advice on how to pull together the different colours both for my bouquet and something that will work for my bridesmaids.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!
Kind regards,
Philis”

Philis, I created your inspiration board with different flower types in deep purple, dusty rose pink, and berry pink. I think the bouquets would look absolutely gorgeous made with the rose cream peony, light pink roses, mauve pink hydrangea, and eggplant purple anemone as accents! You can always make your bouquet bigger than the bridesmaids, or add a different flower to your (perhaps the fuchsia cream peony or lilac blossoms). Wrap the stems with a soft pink satin ribbon and accent with ivory pins to finish the look and add a bit more romance to the bouquets. I hope this helps!

Dresses from Dessy. Items used to create Philis’s Aubergine, Dusty Pink, and Berry Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):

Cream Fuchsia Peony, Eggplant Anemone, Rose Cream Peony, Antique Purple Orchid, Ivory Triple Pearl Pins, Premium Light Pink Rose, Premium Mauve Pink Hydrangea, Lilac Cream Apple Blossom.
