Lesley’s Champagne and Cognac Wedding Inspiration Board

“Hello,

The wedding is August 14, 2010. The main flower I wanted to use are calla lilies, however I am open to other options. Interesting in what centerpiece ideas you have as well as bouquets.

Thanks
Lesley”

Lesley, I created your inspiration board using flowers in amber, orange, cream, and touches of brown. I made sure to put calla lilies on the board, but also included some roses and peonies — both flowers that will compliment the callas nicely. For the bouquets, why not create them using the vanilla roses, amber peonies, and calla lilies in the brown burgundy and cream. You could then incorporate all these flower types into your centerpieces. Use some tall thin vases for the calla lily flowers, and arrange the peonies and roses together in a short, round arrangement. I hope this gives you some ideas.

Dress from David’s Bridal.

Amber’s Black, Ivory, and Merlot Inspiration Board

In CategoryGeneral Wedding
ByLeAnne

Amber writes:
“I am having the most difficult time choosing the colors and flowers for my wedding. I think FINALLY we have decided on Black, Ivory and Merlot. I would love to have some sort of Pearl or Crystal in the Bridal Bouquet. I am looking for something that is classy and elegant. I would love to have Calla Lilies included in the Bouquet as well. Thank you so much for your help. I cant wait to see what you come up with.
Amber”

Amber, I created your board using ivory and merlot flowers along with black accessories. I think that if you made the bouquet out of the merlot calla lily along with the ivory peony accented by the burgundy rose, it would look amazing. You could finish the bouqet with some black ting for added “shine” and black ribbon to tie it off. I hope this helps!

Sarah writes:
“I am trying to decide between a red (dark red) and black wedding or a mossy oak camoflauge and black wedding colors. I feel that if I find the right flowers that I will be able to decide the rest. I am interested in roses or lilies. Thank you so much!!!

Sarah, I created your board using two of the dresses you sent. I created one side with the red and black, while the other side focused on “camoflauge” colors. I think either is going to look striking. I hope this helps you to make a decision!

Terry’s Fuchsia, Coral, and Turquoise Wedding Inspiration Board

In CategoryGeneral Wedding
ByLeAnne

Terry writes:
“Hi,

My name is Terry and I am getting married on a island off of Puerto Rico next year. The ceremony is at at sunset and it is taking place at a villa overlooking the ocean. I am going for the colors of fushia and coral accented with turquoise/gold/silver. My dress is ivory with a beaded bodice and gold/silver pattern.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
Terry”

Terry, I created your inspiration board with different flower types in fuchsia, coral/peach, and turquoise as well as added gold and silver accents. For the bouquets, why not make them using the peach roses, fuchsia ranunculus and orchids, and turquoise ranunculus. To add in the silver and gold, you could wrap a silver ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent that with gold pins. I hope this helps!

Olga’s Ivory, Brown, and Light Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

In CategoryGeneral Wedding
ByLeAnne

Olga writes:
“I am trying to help my future sister in law with a board for their wedding next year. It is a beach/garden wedding in Marbella. I am trying to find the most suitable color to coordinate with the dress for bridesmaid but that will also be suited for June 2010. I hope you can help.

Thanking you.
Olga”

Olga, I created your inspiration board using flowers in browns, ivory, and light rose pink. To keep the wedding flower arrangements suitable for a June wedding, I would recommend using more spring flower types. Also, adding the light pink will help as well. I think the bouquets would look great made up of the amber and rose peonies, cream peach roses, and perhaps the cream orchids — to bring in a beachy feel. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Mandi’s Pink, Ivory, and Chocolate Wedding Inspiration Board

In CategoryGeneral Wedding
ByLeAnne

Mandi writes:
“Hi!

I’m having the hardest time picking flowers for bouquets! Our colors are ivory and chocolate with splashes of bright and soft pink. We’re using cherry blossoms for table centerpieces and I would love flowers that compliment them.

Thanks for your help!
-Mandi”

Mandi, I created your inspiration board with flowers that will compliment the cherry blossoms you already have. I picked roses, gerbera daisies, and ranunculus, and also added a peony and a spider dahlia. Fo your bouquets, why not create them using the brown ranunculus, the vanilla roses, and the pink peony or roses. Then, you can accent with the cherry blossoms! To finish off the bouquets, you can wrap the stems with a brown ribbon and accent with pink pins. I hope this helps give you some ideas!
