Sarah’s Camoflauge, Red, and Black Inspiration Board

Sarah writes:
“I am trying to decide between a red (dark red) and black wedding or a mossy oak camoflauge and black wedding colors. I feel that if I find the right flowers that I will be able to decide the rest. I am interested in roses or lilies. Thank you so much!!!

Sarah, I created your board using two of the dresses you sent. I created one side with the red and black, while the other side focused on “camoflauge” colors. I think either is going to look striking. I hope this helps you to make a decision!

Heather’s Brown and Cornflower Blue Wedding Inspiration Board

In CategoryChocolate Palettes, Earth Tones, Seaside Blues
ByLeAnne

Heather writes:
“I would appreciate an inspiration board! I am getting married in July and am planning a large wedding with my maid of honor and then 4 bridesmaids. My colors are Cornflower and brown. Daisies or gerbera daisies are my favorite flower.  Thanks for your help.
Heather”

Heather, I created your inspiration board with flowers in brown and blue as well as white and green accents, just in case you wanted to add in another flower. I love the green next to the blue flowers, so I think the bouquets would look nice made up with green (or white) and brown gerbera daisies and accented with the blue hydrangea. Then you could wrap a brown ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent that with blue or white pins. I hope this helps!

Elizabeth’s Green and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

ByLeAnne

Elizabeth writes:
“My name is Elizabeth and my wedding is going to be May 8, 2010. My colors are green and white/ivory. My finace’s family is irish and that’s why I liked green being our colors.

I’m having a hard time picking what my bridesmaid’s flowers or my centerpieces for the reception should be. I was thinking white/ivory mainly and then a hint of greenery. I want it to look fresh and springy. I’m a simple girl and don’t like anything big or too fancy. Can you help please?!

Thanks!
Elizabeth”

Elizabeth, I created your inspiration board with all the flowers in green and ivory/cream. I love the soft, subtle look of these colors together! I think keeping the bouquets simple and classic is a wonderful idea. Perhaps you could create your wedding arrangements using vanilla and green roses with green ranunculus accents! Or, if you wanted it more creamy, use the cream gerbera in place of the ranunculus. You could also add some eucalyptus greenery to add more color as well as a give the bouquets a fresh look. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

“Hi! I am getting married on March 27th 2010, at the Minnesota Zoo in the indoor tropical rain forest area of the zoo, followed by a reception in the aquarium! My colors are earthy tones, blue (more teal/tiffany blue color) brown, ivory and I would like to have splashes of green. My Dress is from Davids bridal, it reminds me of something Jackie Kennedy would have worn. Designer Oleg Cassini. My bridesmaid dresses are my Mackenzie Michaels, They are a chocolate brown dress with a blue sash that ties in back the falls to the floor. Thank you so much for your help!! I really look forward to seeing what you have in mind for me!!!
Lea”

Lea, I love it — a wedding at the Minnesoata zoo! How unique and wonderful — I bet it will be gorgeous!!! For your inspiration board, I used various flower types in blues, green, white, and brown. For the bouquets, why not create them using the white gardenia, brown and turquoise ranunculus, and accent with the green spider gerbera daisies. Of course any combination of the flowers on your board will look great! Then, you could wrap a brown ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with green pins. I hope you like your board!

Gretchen’s Olive Green and Yellow Wedding Inspiration Board

ByLeAnne

Gretchen writes:
“Hello LeAnne,

Hi. My wedding colors are ivory, olive, and pale yellow. We are going having an outdoor ceremony, and indoor brunch reception with a garden-ey theme. It will be in late spring, early days of summer.

Thanks,
Gretchen”

Gretchen, I love the colors you have chosen — they are so soft and beautiful! I created your inspiration board using flowers in greens and yellows with hints of ivory/cream. For your bouquets, why not create them using green roses, yellow rose buds, yellow lilies, and accent with green hydrangea. To bring in the ivory, you could wrap an ivory ribbon around the bouquet stems. Or you could replace the yellow lilies in the bouquet with the cream gerberas. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Melanie’s Mocha, Latte, and Green Wedding Inspiration Board

In CategoryChocolate Palettes, Earth Tones, Going Green
ByLeAnne

Melanie writes:
“Hi, we are planning a spring wedding with the colors of mocha/latte/ivory and an accent color of a very light green. Do you have anything with those color tones? Your help is much appreciated! Thanks.”

Melanie, I created your inspiration board using several different flower types in browns, ivory, and greens. I think your bouquets would look great with a combination of ivory (vanilla) roses, brown ranunculus, and accenting with the light green hydrangea! You could even throw in a few tan peonies as well to bring the lighter brown tones into the bouquets. Then, you could wrap a brown ribbon around the stems and accent with green pins. I hope this helps give you some ideas!
