“Hello! I’m getting married in Jamaica in April 2010 and have no idea what kind of flowers I’d like for my bouquet. I know I want it to look lively and tropical but past that….I’m at a loss! LOL! The colors I invision for my palette are bright pink, green, yellow and orange.

Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated!

LaToya”

Latoya, I created your inspiration board with your 4 main colors — yellow, green, orange, and pink. I made sure to include many different types of tropical flowers. I think your bouquets would look stunning made up of the fuchsia orchid and green orchids, orange bird of paradise, orange dahlia, and yellow lilies or hibiscus. You can even add in the fuchsia ranunculus to help the bouquet keep a consistant shape. Finish it off by wrapping the bouquet stems with an orange ribbon and accenting with pink pins. I hope this helps!

“I am getting married on September 20th at Myrtle Beach and would appreciate it if you could give me an idea of what flowers to use in my wedding bouquet. The colors that we are using are ivory and each bridesmaid is going to be in a different shade of blue. I like daisies and roses but would like to use other flowers as well. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Penny”

Penny, I created your board using a mix of ivory and blue, I also added in a few shades of yellow to brighten things up. I think that is you use a mix of the blue roses, along with ivory and yellow daisies and rose buds it would look beautiful and tropical. I hope that you like your board.

“I am in need of a bouquet (for bride) in roses and calla lillies, tied with ribbons and wrapped stems in shades of oranges to deep almost red between the roses and calla lillies. Her dress is champagne. I will also need a bouquet for the maid of honor who is wearing shades of brown that will look decent with the brides. Can you people help me? A picture of colors would be appreciated.”

I created this inspiration board with roses and calla lilies in various shades of oranges and reds, including a nice orange-red color called flame. The bouquets would look great mafe up of orange and red roses, flame ranunculus, and orange calla lilies. I also put 2 different boutonniere types on the board as well. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Amy’s Hunter and Clover Green Wedding Inspiration Board

Amy writes:
“Hi There!
My name is Amy and I am getting married on Sept 5, 2010. I need help with flowers. My bridesmaids are wearing hunter green and clover. It will be a evening wedding and I love poppie flowers like the ones in the Wizard of Oz. Do you have any suggestions? Please help, I am not the creative type and I would like the flowers to be very simple..
Thanks so much for your help.
Amy”

Amy, I love the simple look of green dresses paired with some green flowers and the dark orange flame color of poppies — so stunning! Since you love the poppies and wanted a simple bouquet, why not create them using the flame ranunculus, one or two different poppies, and accent with green bells of ireland and hydrangea! To finish the bouquets add a nice ivory ribbon around the stems and accent with green pins. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Erin’s Cornflower Blue, Emerald Green, and Brown Inspiration Board

Erin writes:
“Hi LeAnne!

I was referred to your website by a coworker of mine, and I absolutely love it!! There is so much inspiration here, and was hoping you could come up with some suggestions. I’m having a rustic country themed wedding June 2010, and the colors are cornflower blue, canary yellow, emerald green, with accents of brown. I would like to incorporate sunflowers and gerberas with raffia and wheat. I’m also looking to add some pop to the flowers by maybe including fuchsia. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much!

Erin”

Erin, I created your inspiration board with flowers in green, brown, blue, yellow, and fuchsia. I tried to select flowers that were a bit more rustic feeling. In my opinion, the fuchsia would make the bouquets “pop,” but I think the bouquets would look better with just the main colors of your wedding. The yellow flowers will add that bright splash of color. For the bouquets, why not create them using the blue and green cosmos, brown spider gerbera daisy, and yellow sunflowers. Then you could tie natural raffia around the stems to complete the look. I hope this helps!

Kelly’s Sangria, Ivory, and Orange Wedding Inspiration Board

Kelly writes:
“Hi, I’m planning a September 18th, 2010 wedding. The ceremony and reception will be at a golf course; the ceremony being outside. The bridesmaids dresses are the color called Sangria and my dress is ivory. I will probably do candles at the reception, so I’m really needing some help with the bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, as well as the groomsmen’s boutonnieres. Thanks for your help!
Kelly”

Kelly, what a beautiful color for the bridesmaids dresses! I created your inspiration board with flowers in a reddish purple (close to a wine/sangrai), ivory, and burnt orange. I think the bouquets would look great made up with the vanilla roses, orange calla lilies or roses, and eggplant magnolia. For the boutonnieres you could go with an orange rose (if you chose roses for the bouquets) or the eggplant magnolia. Simply clip the flower and wrap the remaining stem with a bit of floral tape and you’re reading to pin it on! I hope this helps!

Lashonda’s Fall Wedding Flower Inspiration Board

Lashonda writes:
“I love the ideas on your site! Please help me with some ideas for a fall wedding using “fall colors” (i.e. orange, red, yellow). I am considering primarily using shades of orange and tan for the wedding party and incorporating the other colors through flowers/decorations. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!!’

Lashonda, I created your inspiration board using different flower types in fall colors, being sure to include shades of brown and orange. I think the wedding bouquets would look nice if you created them using the amber peonies, mustard gerbera daisies, orange roses, and touches of burgundy hydrangea. You could even accent with a beautiful fall rattail and grass bush for greenery. To finish the bouquet, simply wrap a brown ribbon around the flower stems. I hope this helps give you some inspiration.
