Bobbie’s Pink and Orange Wedding Inspiration Board
Bobbie writes:
“Hello,
I’m getting married in October 2010 and need help deciding on the bouquets. It’s a tropical theme, and I really really really love hibiscus and plumeria flowers, but I know its hard to coordinate the colors of the flowers with the colors of my girl’s dresses. The colors are pink and orange, and the girl’s dresses are mixed. Please help.”
Bobbie, I created your inspiration board with flowers in orange, pink, and a salmon color that is a nice combination of the 2 — and look great next to the dress!! I also used various tropical looking flowers. I think the bouquet would look great made up with the peach dalias, salmon roses, and pink orchids or hibiscus. You could even add in some orange bird of paradie or green tropical leaf accents! I hope you like your inspiration board.
Items used to create Bobbie’s Pink and Orange Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):
Peach Apricot Dahlia, Pink Phalaenopsis Orchid, Orange Bird of Paradise, Salmon Open Rose, Pink Hibiscus Bush, Light Pink Satin Edge Ribbon, Split Philodendron Leaf, Smoked Pink Open Rose.

Rachael’s Watermelon Pink and Latte Wedding Inspiration Board
Rachael writes:
“Hello,
I’m getting married on October 2, 2010 and my colors are watermelon and latte from David’s Bridal. I love stargazer lilies, sorbonne lilies, gerbera daises, and calla lilies. I would like to incorporate my colors, but also colors of fall since it is a fall wedding. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Thank you
Kind regards,
Rachael”
Rachael, I created your inspiration board with a few different flower types and colors. Initially you mentioned you wanted fall colors in your wedding arrangement, but thought maybe to do whites or creams instead. I created your board with both so you can see the differences! If you went with bright fall colored accents in yellow and orange — the colors look quite good together! Or you make them with cream and beige instead, whichever you prefer. I think if you made the bouquets with roses, calla lilies, and stargazer lilies — any combination of colors from your board with look great! I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Rubrum Stargazer Lily, Orange Gerbera Daisy, Pink Triple Pearl Pins, Cream White Half Opening Rose, Fuchsia Gerbera Daisy, Yellow Gerbera Daisy, Beige Open Rose, Fuchsia Calla Lily, Yellow Pink Calla Lily.

Green, Yellow, and Cream Wedding Inspiration Board
“Hi,
I am working on ideas for a friends upcoming spring wedding and wanted some ideas and help for bouquets and decorating ideas. The bridesmaids dresses are kelly green strapless and the flower girls are wearing pale yellow. The bride wants her bouquet to be a mixture of spring flowers. Any suggestions and ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.”
I created this inspiration board with a variety of spring flowers types in green, yellow, and green. The combination is beautiful! I think the bouquets would look great made up with yellow tulips and iris, white daisies or cream dogwood, and green bells of ireland. Add some onion grass greenery for and even more spring/wildflower look. To finish the bouquet you could wrap the stems with a yellow or cream ribbon and accent with colored pins. I hope this helps!
Items used to create the Green, Yellow, and Cream Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):
Cream Tulip, Yellow Iris, Green Triple Pearl Pins, White Daisy Spray, Royal Rose and Hydrangea Bouquet, Yellow Narcissus Bush, White Tulip Bush, Yellow Tulip, Green Bells of Ireland, Cream Dogwood, Green Calla Lily.

Jillian’s Sangria and Fall Color Wedding Inspiration Board
Jillian writes:
“Hi there! I love your inspiration board! I have seen so many wonderful ideas for flowers and would love your opinion for my wedding this September 2010.
The girls are all wearing sangria from David’s Bridal. I love the sangria color for the fall and would love to include other colors into the bouqets to make them “pop” maybe purples, greens, yellows and even orange? I would love to see the ideas you come up with.
I kinda like the look of a medium to larger bouqet for my girls and a slightly larger bouqet for myself so if you could also tell me how many flowers you recommend of each that would be great. Thanks again for all your help…I am excited to see what you create
Thank you so much!
Jillian”
Jillian, I created your inspiration board in all the colors you suggested as well as a few that match the sangria colored dresses. I think this is a beautiful color palette — bright violet/sangria, orange, yellow, and green — all bold fall colors that look gorgeous together! You really could do any combination of the flowers on your board, but how about making the bouquets with orange roses, green spider dahlia, violet dahlia, and yellow blossom accents. For the bridesmaids bouquets, to be a larger bouquet use roughly 10-12 open bloom flowers (not including the smaller accent flowers should you use them). For your bouquet, you can double the amount, or go a bit smaller by using 16-18 full bloom flowers. I hope this helps!
Dresses from David’s Bridal. Items used to create Jillian’s Sangria and Fall Color Wedding Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):
Green Spider Dahlia, Yellow Sunflower, Yellow Blossoming Spray, Violet Phalaenopsis Orchid, Eggplant Gerbera Daisy, Green Gerbera Daisy, Orange Open Rose, Violet Dahlia.

Ashlee’s Bright Summer Wedding Flower Inspiration Board
Ashlee writes:
“Hello,
I want to start off by saying I love your flowers on the site. They are so beautiful!! I am have a summer beach wedding in south Florida. I will be in white and my bridesmaids will be in short black dresses. I want to use colorful gerbera daisies. Since it is going to be a beach wedding I want something bright and summery. I am having trouble deciding which flowers to go best with the daisies. What kind of flowers would you recomend??
Thanks so much for your help!!
Ashlee”
Ashlee, I created your inspiration board using gerbera daisies in all your bright and bold wedding colors. I also added a few different flower types that would look great with the daisies — roses, ranunculus, and dahlia. For the bouquets, why not create them with the pink spider dahlia, orange roses, and then use the gerbera daisies for the other colors (orange and green). Finish off the bouquet by wrapping the stems with a brightly colored ribbon — or alternating ribbon colors — and adding bright pin accents. I hope you like your board!
Items used to create Ashlee’s Bright Summer Wedding Flower Inspiration Board from Afloral.com (clockwise starting at top left):
Rust Orange Gerbera Daisy, Soft Green Gerbera Daisy, Yellow Gerbera Daisy, Fuchsia Gerbera Daisy, Green Ranunculus, Pink Triple Pearl Headed Pins, Orange Rose, Lilac Spider Dahlia.

Ashley’s Purple, Orange, and Yellow Wedding Inspiration Board
Ashley writes:
“Hello! I am a recently engaged bride to be who is extremely indecisive. I think my wedding will be in June of 2011 outside but that’s about all I’ve got. I love gerberas, the spider ones too, and calla lilies. I’m a huge fan of color but I like dark colors too. I want something fun, funky, different but still classy. My original color scheme was dark purple, yellow and white but I’m beginning to love the orange flowers I see on this website. Any ideas you can come up with I would really appreciate.
Thank you!
Ashley”
Ashley, I created your inspiration board with flowers in orange, yellow, and a few different shades of purple as well as some greens. This way, you can take a look at all the colors together and pick which you like best. Pairing oranges and yellows with a dark purple will really be a contrasting and bold look — which is very stunning. If you think it’s too extreme, you could always do a lighter orchid purple with the 2 colors — which is still nice and bright, just not as contrasting. Adding in some green will brighten the bouquet even more — and I just love the green and purple together! Any combination of the flowers on this board will look amazing though. I hope this helps!

Yellow Gerbera Daisy, Eggplant Gerbera Daisy, Green Spider Dahlia, Orange Gerbera Daisy, Purple Calla Lily, Orchid Hydrangea, Green Real Touch Calla Lily, Flame Calla Lily, Eggplant Calla Lily.

Ashley’s Orange, Green, and Yellow Wedding Inspiration Board
Ashley writes:
“I have NOT been able to pick colors or flowers. My wedding is August 21, 2010. I found your site doing a search – and love it and your products! Would you be able to put an inspiration board together for me?
Some details:
-August wedding in a Catholic church in Kansas
-Reception indoors
-Steering away from too much pink, but want “summer” feel
-Dress is light ivory silk-satin with light pewter accents
-No bridesmaids dresses picked out yet
-I do like metallics, maybe play off the pewter
Thanks for any help you can provide!
–
Ashley”
Ashley, I created your inspiration board with flowers in bright yellow, orange, and green. These colors are nice and bold and will give your arrangements that summery feel. You could also add in some turrquoise or blue for extra brightness! If you wanted to make your boquuets similar to the photo, you could make it with the orange roses, orange spider dahlia, and the green hydrangeas. Add some yellow roses or mums for an extra splash of color. I hope this helps!
