Samantha writes:
“Hi there. My wedding is in May of 2010. The color for our wedding is gonna be watermelon. All the bridesmaids, will be wearing a dress from Davids Bridal style number 81568. Could you suggest what we could add in conjunction with the flowers we already have purchased to compliment the watermelon dress that we picked out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Samantha and Dale”

Samantha, I created your inspiration board with flowers in pink and white — and even threw in a green daisy. The bright green looks great along side the pink! For the bouquets, why not create them using the pink roses, bright pink spider dahlias, and white gerbera daisies. If you liked the green, you could also add in some green daisies. To finish off the bouquet, wrap the stems with a white (or green), ribbon and accent with pink headed pins. I hope this helps!

“Hi There!
My name is Amy and I am getting married on Sept 5, 2010. I need help with flowers. My bridesmaids are wearing hunter green and clover. It will be a evening wedding and I love poppie flowers like the ones in the Wizard of Oz. Do you have any suggestions? Please help, I am not the creative type and I would like the flowers to be very simple..
Thanks so much for your help.
Amy”

Amy, I love the simple look of green dresses paired with some green flowers and the dark orange flame color of poppies — so stunning! Since you love the poppies and wanted a simple bouquet, why not create them using the flame ranunculus, one or two different poppies, and accent with green bells of ireland and hydrangea! To finish the bouquets add a nice ivory ribbon around the stems and accent with green pins. I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Erin’s Cornflower Blue, Emerald Green, and Brown Inspiration Board

Erin writes:
“Hi LeAnne!

I was referred to your website by a coworker of mine, and I absolutely love it!! There is so much inspiration here, and was hoping you could come up with some suggestions. I’m having a rustic country themed wedding June 2010, and the colors are cornflower blue, canary yellow, emerald green, with accents of brown. I would like to incorporate sunflowers and gerberas with raffia and wheat. I’m also looking to add some pop to the flowers by maybe including fuchsia. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much!

Erin”

Erin, I created your inspiration board with flowers in green, brown, blue, yellow, and fuchsia. I tried to select flowers that were a bit more rustic feeling. In my opinion, the fuchsia would make the bouquets “pop,” but I think the bouquets would look better with just the main colors of your wedding. The yellow flowers will add that bright splash of color. For the bouquets, why not create them using the blue and green cosmos, brown spider gerbera daisy, and yellow sunflowers. Then you could tie natural raffia around the stems to complete the look. I hope this helps!

Kate’s Teal Wedding Flower Inspiration Board

Kate writes:
“Hi!
I’m getting married in June of 2010. My bridedsmaids dresses are teal. I’m having a hard time finding silk flowers to match their dresses and clueless about what color(s) I should have for my bouquet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Kate”

Kate, I created your inspiration board with flowers in teal/turquoise, as well as fuchsia, yellow, white, and brown. Any combination of these colors will look great against the teal dresses — using the yellow or fuchsia will really make the flowers “pop.” I think the bouquets would look great made up with the turquoise and brown ranunculus, white roses, and either the yellow roses or fuchsia gerbera daisies. I hope you like your board!

Rosanna’s Ivory and Light Pink Wedding Inspiration Board

Rosanna writes:
“Hello!

I’m an Italian girl getting married in Ireland, at Cloghan Castle:
http://www.cloghancastle.com/ with a Valentino for Pronovias gown.
The color I chose is… well, shades of ivory! I mean, ivory, light pink, platinum and champagne/light taupe/latte. It is going to be a vintage glam wedding… the gown has Alencon lace, I want tulle, ribbons, candles and feathers all around, and I love pearls.

Because I don’t know much about flowers, I don’t even know what to ask from the florist. I would love for you to help me out :)

Thanks!
Rosanna”

Rosanna, I created your inspiration board using flowers in shades of ivory and light pink. I also included candles, ribbon, pins, and a pearl spray! For the bouquets, why not created them using the rose cream peonies, vanilla roses, and beige magnolias. You could even add in some cream calla lilies for added elegance. To complete the bouquet you could accent the flowers with the pearl sprays, add a silver ribbon around the bouquet stems, and insert ivory pins into the ribbon. I hope this helps give you some ideas!
