Crystal’s Royal, Lavender, and Sage Inspiration Board

Crystal writes:
“Hi LeAnne,

Love your site! I would love to have an inspiration board done. I am having a kind of big wedding party, with my MOH and 5 BM’s, and 1 Jr. BM.

I am having royal blue (MOH), lavender and sage green (BM’s). I don’t like roses or rose buds. Lillies are my favorite flower and I really like gerbera daisies. I really want to have lots of color in my bouquets, but don’t want them to “fade” into the dresses. I don’t know what colors to add to make them pop against the 3 colors I have choosen, only white, which I don’t want a big amount of. I hope you can help. Thanks.

Crystal”

Crystal, I created your inspiration board with flowers in colors that match your dresses as well as a few yellows and a white. The yellow and white will both compliment your dresses but also stand out nicely. I think the bouquets would look great with the periwinkle dahlia, the blue anemone, and then accents of white and/or yellow lilies. I hope the inspiration board will give you some ideas.

Heather’s Orange Wedding Flower Inspiration Board

Heather writes:
“Hello!
I would love for you to create an inspiration board for us. I love the website and am planning on making my own bouquet, centerpieces, etc. We are thinking of a fall or winter wedding with orange as a possible accent color. I love orchids and lilies but am open to anything.
Thanks in advance,
Heather Hobbs”

Heather, I created your inspiration board using orange flowers as well as brown and burgundy. If you decided to go with a fall wedding, pairing the orange with fall tones such as brown would look beautiful. If you decide on a winter wedding, why not go with deep burgundy flowers accented with the orange. Since you like orchids and lilies, I would suggest created your bouquets with roses and orchids, and accent with lilies, since they are the bigger flower. I hope this helps!

Stephanie’s Pink and Blue Wedding Inspiration Board

Stephanie writes:
“Hi,

I would love some help with flowers! Our wedding is going to be an incredibly romantic event, but I am a little sassy too and I want the flowers to reflect that part of my personality! I would like to have a bright pink bouquet for myself and possibly blue or ivory bouquets for my six bridesmaids (who will be dressed in blue). I also have a younger sister who I want to feel special that day. Thank you so much for your advice!

Stephanie”

Stephanie, I am really loving the combination of blue and pink flowers together! It’s so bold and looks stunning in bouquets. I created your inspiration board using blues and brighter shades of pink. I also added a vanilla/ivory rose as well. For your bouquets, why not stick with the bright pinks, and for the bridesmaids you could do mostly blue with hints of pink. Then, you could create a smaller duplicate of your bouquet for your sister — maybe add some extra ribbon to her bouquet. I hope this helps!

Michelle’s Pool Blue and Black Wedding Inspiration Board

Michelle writes:
“Hi! I am getting married in a couple of months and am having a Tiffany/Pool Blue and Black wedding. I would like some white thrown in, and my wedding is a sort of vintage theme. My dress is blue with the bridal party having plain black. Please help me come up with something!! Thank you so much!
Michelle”

Michelle, I created your inspiration board with white and turquoise flowers and black accent pieces. I made sure to include roses (which we also have in white and dark turquoise), because I think they add such a vintage and romantic look to the flowers. For the bouquets, you could create them using white roses, white peonies, and turquoise ranunculus. Then you could accent the bouquets with white feathers and a black ribbon around the flower stems. I hope you like your board!
