Brandy’s Clover, Turquoise, and Pewter Wedding Inspiration Board
Brandy writes:
“Hi there,
My wedding colors are clover, turquoise, and pewter (and I’m trying to squeeze in a little bit of orange)…could you come up with an inspiration board for me please? My wedding is March 27, 2010. Also, the wedding is in an old barn decorated with antique tools.
Thanks so much!”
Brandy, I created your inspiration board with several different flower type in turquoise and green as well as added a few orange ones. I would recommend with the orange color, to use a more muted tone of orange, such as a burnt orange. This will allow you to bring in the orange without taking away from the other colors! Then, to add the pewter you could wrap a silver ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with pewter pins. I hope you like your inspiration board.

Julia, I created your inspiration board with flowers in shades of blue as well as white. I think the bouquets would look stunning made up of cream and blue roses and either blue anemone or cream spider dahlia accents! Then, you could wrap a blue ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with white pins. I hope you like your board!

Brandi’s White and Deep Red Wedding Inspiration Board
Brandi’s writes:
“Hi,
I am having a beautiful bayside ceremony at a 1920’s spanish mansion, and I wanted the reception to be black and white with splashes of deep red. I was thinking either a red dress, or a black dress with red trim. I really wanted to included pink dendrobium orchids in the bm bouquets, but I am not sure it would match the red! I wanted to keep it elegant and romantic. Please help!
Thanks,
Brandi”
Brandi, I created your inspiration board with open roses and rose buds as well as gerbera daisies in both white and deep red/burgundy, but added a few pink flowers as well — this way you can see all the colors together. I think if you wanted to add pink orchids to the bridesmaids bouquets, it would bring an extra romantic feel to the bouquets and look beautiful as well. I would suggest picking an orchid that is either a very soft pink or one that is a deep fuchsia — both of which would compliment the deep red. I hope this helps!

Wanda’s Blue, White, and Emerald Green Wedding Inspiration Board
Wanda writes:
“Hello,
I am getting married next Oct. 2010 My Linen colors are white and sky blue, While my dress is a period dress from the 1900’s of Emerald Green and Gold, I would love to have all roses, but don’t know which colors to use. Can you help with a color palete?
Thanks,
Wanda”
Wanda, I created your inspiration board with flowers in the same colors as your linens. I think the combination of light blue, green, and white is so soft and beautiful! You could create your bouquets with roses in green, blue, and white, and perhaps add another flower type as an accent — perhaps the blue hydrangea. You could also add white feathers to the bouquet to make them even more romantic. For the stems, why not wrap them with a white ribbon and add gold pearl headed pins. I hope this helps give you some ideas.

Veronica’s Purple and Fuchsia Wedding Inspiration Board
Veronica writes:
“Hello,
My name is Veronica. I am getting married August 21, 2010. My colors are purple, fushia, and lilac. I need help with my center pieces. My favorite flowers are orchids, I’d really like to have them in the center pieces, but I’m having trouble figuring out how.
Veronica”
Veronica, I created your inspiration board using a few different flower types in shades of purple and fuchsia. I also made sure to include several different orchids, as these are you favorite! For the bouquets, I would suggest picking 1-2 different orchids as well as another flower type — perhaps the ranunculus. For the centerpieces (since you have orchids in the bouquets) you can use just the orchids by themselves in a clear tall glass vase maybe filled with colored gems/stones. Orchids are just so beautiful and exotic all on their own! I hope this helps.

“Hi there! I am getting married next June and I was wondering if you could put an inspiration board together for me. Our ceremony is going to be a “toes in the sand” on the beach ceremony. Taesha, I created your inspiration board using brightly colored flowers in pink, green, and orange. I think the combination of these 3 colors will be stunning!
