Amie’s Purple, Ivory, and Gold Wedding Inspiration Board

Amie writes:
“Hi there, my name is Amie.

I need some help with my flowers. The theme of the wedding is gold, ivory and roses. My preference of flowers are roses, orchids (cymbidium) and either calla or casablanca lilies.

I hope you can help :)
Regards,
Amie”

Amie, I created your inspiration board with flowers in mostly ivory and purple as well as added a few gold accents! I think the bouquets would look fantastic with the violet roses and ivory calla lilies — however you could add either purple or ivory orchids if you think it needs a 2rd flower type. To bring in the gold, you can always wrap a gold ribbon around the bouquet stems and/or accent the bouquet flowers with sparkle gold ting! I hope this helps give you some ideas.

Sophia’s Fall Wedding Flower Inspiration Board

Sophia writes:
“Hello!

My name is Sophia…I came across your site by accident, I would love some help with my wedding flowers! I am working on a very limited budget and my wedding date is October 3, 2009. Our theme is very elegant, the wedding being held in the evening. My girls are wearing gowns from David’s Bridal in the colors of latte and truffle. I would love to use fall accent colors to tie everything together.

I would appreciate any suggestions!!!
Thank you!
Sophia”

Sophia, I created you inspiration board using different fall colors including browns, orange, and even burgundy. All deep, rich colors which will look great together in an arrangement! For the bouquets, why not use the orange and brown calla lilies mixed with either a peony or rose flower in burgundy. Then, for the centerpieces, you could use a tall clear vase, add some colored rocks or gems, and place a few tall calla lilies in the orange and browm. For more of a fall look, you could add natural branches to the vase and the mini fall leaves on the tables.

Leslie’s Deep Purple, Green, and Ivory Wedding Inspiration Board

Leslie writes:
“Hello,

My name is Leslie, my wedding date is set for October 16, 2010. My bridesmaids are wearing a deep purple called “Lapis”. I’ll be wearing an ivory dress. I’d like to wear flowers in my hair to match our bouquets instead of a veil. I’m having trouble with any accent colors for the bouquets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you
Leslie”

Leslie, why not pair deep purple flowers with ivory, green, and maybe hints of a wine color? I created your inspiration board using different flower types in all these colors — just so you can see the combination. Perhaps you could make the bouquets with green and ivory roses, purple anemone, and accent with deep purple feathers. Or, use purple and green ranunculus with wine calla lilies. Just a few ideas for you. Once your bouquets are created, you could then wrap a green ribbon around the stems and accent with either purple or ivory pins. I hope this helps!
