Janique’s Black, White, and Kiwi Green Inspiration Board

Janique writes:
“Hello,

I really need some inspiration. We are getting married next year and looking for some bouquet ideas. Our colours are black and white with a kiwi green as an accent. Bridesmaids are in black.

Thank you so much!
Janique”

Janique, I created your inspiration board using different flower types in bright greens and whites as well as black accents. For the bouquets, why not use white gerbera daisies and roses and accent with the green spider dahlias. The dahlias are such an eye-catching flower and the green color will really make them stand out and look amazing in the bouquets! To tie in the black, you could always add a little bit of black sparkle ting with the flowers and wrap the bouquet stems with black ribbon! I hope this helps give you some ideas.

Kendra’s Watermelon, White, and Clover Inspiration Board

Kendra writes:
“I am looking for some ideas….My wedding is going to be in the watermelon and clover color theme. My dress is of course white and my bridesmaids will be wearing watermelon color dresses with some clover somewhere on the dress. I love tulips and daisies. Any ideas would be great….
Kendra”

Kendra, I created your inspiration board using mostly tulip and daisies — though I added some roses — in pinks, white, and greens. Since you like tulips and daisies, why not arrange your bouquets with white and fuchsia pink gerbera daisies, lighter pink tulips, and add a touch of green with either small hydrangea clusters or a few bells of ireland. Then, you could wrap a pink ribbon around the bouquet stems and accent with green pearl headed pins! I hope you like your board!

Rochelle’s Ivory, Champagne, and Chocolate Inspiration Board

Rochelle writes:
“Hello I would like your advice on what flowers I need for my bridesmaids arm bouquets. My colors are ivory, champagne and chocolate brown. My bridesmaid dresses are champagne, my groomsmen chocolate brown, groom, ivory. I plan on making them on my own to save money.

Thanks.
Rochelle”

Rochelle, I created your inspiration board using ivory, champagne, and chocolate brown flowers, however I added a few others as well. If you wanted to add a bit of color to your wedding flowers, why not try pairing these colors with greens, pinks, or even a deep eggplant purple. Or, keep the colors simple with the browns and ivorys and add something unique to the bouquets such as ostrich feathers! I hope this helps.

Caroline’s Teal and Amethyst Wedding Inspiration Board

Caroline writes:
“Hello,
My name is Caroline and I came across your web site and was very interested about an inspiration board.  My bridesmaids dresses are Teal and my mum will be wearing aqua. I will be wearing an ivory dress and an amethyst necklace as it is a family heirloom.

I am hoping not to just have to have a plain white colour scheme, but I really am not keen on turquoise, green or brown coloured flowers. I was thinking ivory, pink and purple would suit best. I am a bit shy of hot pink but I like raspberry colours.

Thank you for taking the time to read my email.
Caroline”

Caroline, I like the idea of using a purple, pink, and ivory color palette so I created your board using these tones.  I think a nice mix of both dark and light purple — dark to match the necklace and light to make the bouquets a bit more spring — pink, and ivory would look great against the teal dresses.  I included roses, lisianthus, and freesia on you board as well as a pink peony.  Peonies are such a beautiful and romantic flower type, plus they are a great spring flower as well!  I hope this helps give you some ideas.

Amber’s Pool Blue and Canary Wedding Inspiration Board

Amber writes:
“Hi, my name is Amber. I came across your site recently and after seeing how helpful you seem to be had to e-mail in for a storyboard of my own! I’ve been engaged now for about 3 months and we’ve been planning a beach wedding, but in the past week decided get married in our home town instead which has altered all of my previous planning. The wedding will now be set on a farm (May 29th of next year), the ceremony will be on a large grassy lawn surrounded by a creek and dozens of trees. After much consideration I’ve decided on using David’s bridal pool and canary.
So to be short, I’d like some suggestions for yellow flowers, and simple, but elegant bridesmaid bouquets.
Thanks so much,
-Amber”

Amber, I kept your inspiration board fairly simple by using only yellow toned flowers. I also included a cream as well as an apricot — which would compliment the yellow flowers nicely. For your bouquets, why not do a combination of yellow roses and rose buds as well as the apricot open roses? Then, perhaps the bridesmaids could carry a matching yellow calla lily — or a yellow calla with a rose as well to tie them in with your bouquet. Then, you could wrap a yellow or ivory ribobn around the flower stems to complete the look! I hope your like your inspiration board!.
