Amanda’s Pink, Yellow, White, and Black Inspiration Board

“Thanks for being willing to help. I think i know what I want, but maybe you will give me different ideas I have not thought of before. The wedding date is April 10. My colors are Pink, Yellow, White…gerbra daisies I like a lot. And my pop is zebra.

Let me know your ideas. Thanks!
Amanda”

Amanda, I love the zebra print dresses! How beautiful! I created your inspiration board using mostly gerbera daisies but also roses, ranunculus, and a lily. I used bright pinks and yellows as well as white, a light pink gerbera, and black accents. I love the idea of making hand-tied bouquets with yellow, fuchsia, and white gerbera daisies and accenting the stems with black ribbon and pink pins! The 3 colors will really stand out against the black dresses. I hope this board helps give you some ideas!

Sharon’s Bordeux, Burnt Orange, Brown, and Gold Inspiration Board

Sharon writes:
“Hey, my name is Sharon and would love you to help me out with a wedding ideas board for our flowers.
My mother is getting married in september and is wearing a burnt orange dress, the 2 adult bridesmaids are wearing the same dress but in a shade of bordeux like a burgundy, and the 2 little bridesmaids will be ivory, we have gold balloons and favours, but we are really stuck on what colours the flowers will be and whether to use fresh or silk, the groom has dark brown suit so autumn/fall colours.
Sharon”

Sharon, I created your inspiration board using shades of red/wine, oranges, brown, and even some gold. I think the flower arrangements would look great with brown gerberas, gold and burgundy roses, and the orange calla lilies — however any combination of the flowers from the board would go together nicely. To finish off the bouquets, you could wrap the bouquet stems with a brown ribbon and bring in the gold with gold pin accents. I hope you like your board!

Tracey’s Apple Red, Ivory, and Black Wedding Inspiration Board

Tracey writes:
“Hi,
My wedding is Nov 13, 2009. The venue is Giorio’s Foxwood in Baiting Hollow on Long Island. My colors are bridal ivory, apple red, and black. I’m at a loss of what flowers to use and centerpieces. The cermony is being held inside of the venue and we are bringing in an arch. I wanted a simple arrangement on top of the arch and draped with white organza and maybe ivy. I’m also not sure what flowers to use on the chairs that will create the isle. Any help at all will I will be extremely gratifide.
Thank You,
Tracey”

Tracey, I created your inspiration board using flowers in reds, ivory, and added a few black accent pieces. For your arch, you could drape the organza, add the green ivy, and use ivory magnolias and red hydrangea flowers. For the centerpieces, you could create them using the black bamboo and put a few tall flowers into the vase as well (if you keep with the magnolias and hydrangeas, use maybe 3 magnolia and accent with the red hydrangea. Or you could make shorter arrangements using only the red hydrangea heads and ivory colored rocks in the vase. Good luck and I hope this helps!

Aundrea’s Cream, Beige, and Soft Yellow Inspiration Board

Aundrea writes:
“I was hoping you could help me with my wedding flowers! I attached the photos of the dresses in the wedding.  I was hoping for lots of yellow with cream and beige and maybe throw in a pop of a bright color. I also really like the looks of the spider dahlias and daisies. Any suggestions you have I’m open to. Thank you so much!
-Aundrea”

Aundrea, I created your inspiration board using mostly creams, beiges, and light yellow. I picked a few different flower types for you to check out. As for adding a bright color, why not add some purple, a bold green, or even some yellows that are a bit brighter? I made sure to include both a purple and a green flower to your board so you could check out the colors. I think it would be beautiful if you created your bouquet with the soft cream, beige, and yellow and added the bright green spider dahlia! I hope this helps give you some ideas!
