Archelle’s Lavender, Ivory, & Brown Flower Inspiration Board
Archelle writes:
“Hello. I love your site and truly appreciate the instruction videos, I think this is a great idea! I need help with our wedding flowers. Our colors are ivory, chocolate, and lavender. I’m having a hard time putting together the flowers, we can’t use live flowers because I am allergic to pollen so we decided a long time ago that we would use silk.
My struggle is that I love orchid and calla lilies…how would I put a combination like this together? Do these flowers go together at all?
I am not a fan of roses, but I like ranunculus and tulips as well. What flower combination could you suggest? I don’t want anything to over powering for my bouquets as I want my dress to be the center of attention and a large bouquet may take away from the dress. My bridesmaids are wearing separated, an ivory top with a chocolate bottom and a lavender sash.
Any assistance you could provide would be really helpful. Thank you in advance for your help!
-Archelle”

Sherry (Jessica’s SUPER nice mother) writes:
“My daughter Jessica is getting married April 10. She is wearing a red dress instead of the white. No veil and would like an idea for hair flowers. The bridesmaids are wearing all black in different styles. I have researched your site and love your wedding flowers and ideas. Could you please help us out with an idea board?
Thanks, Sherry”

Kristen’s Fall Wedding Flower Inspiration Board
Kristen writes:
“Hi, I am trying to find the perfect flowers for my fall inspired wedding. I decided to go with silk flowers to fit my budget. I was hoping you could help me find the perfect combination. I am wanting something casual and fun. My bridesmaids dresses are a dark chocolate brown and I’m looking to add a pop of color with the flowers. I would like them to be orange or yellow or both, but not too bright. Thank you so much for your time and help.
Kristen”

Davida’s 25th Anniversary Arrangement Inspiration Board
Davida writes:
“Hello LeAnne, I am not planning on getting married, but I am helping to plan a surprise 25 Anniversary.
The event will take place in August of this year, and the colors are deep red, silver and black (the actual colors of the guests of honor’s house) with accents of white and green.
Could you please suggest something that is modern, elegant, summery, and INEXPENSIVE all at the same time?
PLEASE HELP!!!
Sincerely,
Davida”

Kelly’s Red, Cream, & Pink Gerbera Daisy Inspiration Board
Kay, the Mother of our bride Kelly, and I have have been emailing back and forth for a little while now about colors for her daughter’s wedding flowers — gerbera daisies. I was delighted yesterday to receive an email from Kay telling me which color combination they had selected. Since I love the idea and colors, we decided to create an inspiration board featuring the gerbera daisies they picked. Oh, and I added a few accent pieces as well — you know, in case these colors should inspire someone else.
Enjoy! Read the rest of this entry »
